How do you think Mexico's government could be fixed?

If it were made better, if all the corruption or at least most of the corruption were eliminated, people wouldn't need to cross your precious border. It's obviously not easy and not every single Mexican is cut out to be a revolutionary. How do you think it could be improved?

It's not very easy when you have three things (a corrupt government, corrupt cartels, and a corrupt imperialistic government) keeping you down.

Oh boy, right now it's just about impossible. Mexico's government is ruled by drug trafficking, so first good thing to do is to reduce the number of drug consumers. Most drug consumers are in the United States, so by our government putting OUR part, both by establishing more efficient drug rehabilitation programs and massive raids, we can help Mexico's drug dealing business not make as much profit. Secondly, there should be a government overthrowing, and it should be replaced by a socialist-type government that will ENFORCE education and laws. Democracy has proven to NOT work in countries where the general population has a low education. After the people become more educated, then they can think of democracy. Finally, there is no real separation of state and religion in Mexico, the Catholic church has great power in the government. This should be fixed as quickly as possible. Not because Catholics are bad people, but because many people use religion to their advantage. With these three points in mind, and some others, Mexico can become a first-world country in a period of 50-75 years. That is, of course, if no foreign nation interferes with those plans.

If Mexico was attacked by any country, who would be the first they ask for help? One guess. You got it. The USA should boycott Mexico and completely close the border. The Mexican government along with the elite rich Mexicans should then be forced obligated to take care of their own poor. The borders should not be opened until this is accomplished.
Here is why it will not happen. Conflict of interest in oil,money and drugs.

If Americans were minding their own business we would not have been in Korea, Viet Nam, Saudia Arabia,Venezuela and now in Iraq.Just to name a few.

NO Corruption
Jailing druglords
Bounty on druglords
Enterprise Zones
Improving economics for Investing
NO bribes, payola scams
Joint contracts & treaties.

BUT the corrupt Mexican Govt WONT CHANGE.

Revolution is the only cure for the Mexican corruption. But Mexicans are normally too whimped to be the real men that it would take. Ponco Villa was such a man (yes he had his shortcomings). There are none in Mexico that can compare today! Which is sad as Mexico could have such potential.

They could start by minding their own business and leave Americans alone. They could also begin by keeping their people at home and not give them pamphlets on how to beat the American system. In Arizona, an illegal can be caught 8 to 10 times before they are finally deported! I think Americans have been gracious enough!
