i have a friend in the army and his platoon thingi was attacked some time last week, andi havent heard from him since, and i have no clue how to find out the wounded or fatalities. i dont know his rank or anything about where he was stationed, we never talk about the war, i do know he is in iraq now. how do i find a list.

If anything had happened to him you would know.
Your best bet is to stop worrying. the casualty rate in Iraq for US troops is lower than any of our wars in history.
In fact for 2006 more US soldiers were killed in car accidents than any other single cause.

I don't know where you can find injuries, but CNN.com has a list of every soldier, American or their allies, who have been killed in Iraq or Afghanistan to date.

Recent deaths and injuries aren't reported with a name. Before the military will release the name, they inform the family.
How are you certain his platoon was attacked?

I don't think personally you want to invade families privaccy about ppl who have died so its ur choice
