That's a choice for women to make, not men.

Women are the ones that GET pregnant, not men... women are the ones that suffer from the weight gain, the psychological and/or mood swing due to chemical changes that they cannot control, the feeling of inadequacy, the morning sickness, the high blood pressure, anxiety, stretch marks, varicose veins, swollen ankles, fatigue, hemorrhoids, nausea... the ones to feel the birthing pains and deal with stretch marks or deal with the Cesarean... deal with motherhood (18-21 years of that ain't easy) and some having to raise a child ALONE because some of us ain't exactly MEN enough to face our responsibilities... hey... it ain't my job to tell a woman what to do or not to do with HER body!

I have a solution for all of those that are against abortions! And it would certainly cut down on all abortions! Either offer to adopt the unborn or sign a legal document that you will pay for the child's upbringing, education, food, recreation, etc.

I honestly do not think that women CHOOSE to get pregnant so they can have an abortion.

But, if abortions were outlawed, it would ONLY make it possible for the middle class and upper classes to afford them by going to another country where they're allowed and having them... but, that would make it impossible for the lower economic classes to elevate themselves, it would be a way of further burdening them and possibly condemning children to abuse, abandonment and maybe even murder! IT would bring back those backroom "abortions" with clothes-hangers or by those seedy characters that have been known to leave women bleeding to death! Consider the alternatives sometime, OK?

The other solution, of course, is better contraceptive means that do not endanger women!

Today, women have a diaphragm, a coil, the pill, a patch... devices to be inserted or chemicals to be ingested (chemicals that often have serious secondary effects) but men have... a condom. The condom, which has no side effects nor endangers the man's health is often not worn because some of us are too lazy or selfish... too lazy but willing to endanger the woman he lies down with, the woman he supposedly "loves"? That's often why so many men and women have STDs and unwanted pregnancies or unwanted children... men that refuse to wear a condom! Think about that one for a minute!

what i would do is allow abortions for women that have been raped, for babies that will be born with extreme deformities, when the mother is in danger, when the woman or girl is under the age of 17, but i would not allow it in any other circumstances, or i would tell them you can abort the baby but you will spend 5 years in prison
