Okay, the Democratic Congress is making up for lost time investigating pretty much everything the Bush Administration has done in the last 6 years. Do you agree that it would be much more efficient, and less time wasted catching up, if the opposite party runs Congress from the beginning? Like if a Democrat is elected president in 2008, the Republicans should run Congress and vice versa?
I am just looking for your opinion, please no bashing of either side or the President. I think the same thing would be happening if the parties were reversed.

Hi, I am an Indian citizen and want to marry with a Romanian girl. She will come down to India whenever I call her. So which Visa should she apply for India? Can she aquire a long term Visa or she will have to come on tourist visa? Can the Visa be extended after her arrival and after our marriage (on the grounds of marriage to an Indian citizen)? I dont want to return her back to apply for a Fiance Visa in her country. I hope I will get good answers because I am in love with her and dont want to loose her. Help me guys please! Thanks.

USA seems to think they won the cold war.
But are there winners of wars, perhaps only losers.
Empire-ism is as old, and unstable as Roman Empire.
Empires come and go, go into oblivion in history books.

Many people do not speak English. Just because the majority of illegals speak Spanish, is the U.S. discriminating against other illegals who do not speak English?

The president believes that Congress can do a better job with your money. He complains that they sneak the pork through — piles of it. "These things didn't get voted on, and yet they have the force of law," the president said in a speech, holding up a large stack of congressional earmarks.

Even if he isn't a democrat he did do something good by trying to stop wasteful spending on "pork" (aka useless projects), and put it to Americas future!

I think they're saying that since there's a carnival in Iraq, things are great now, the Iraqis are free, there is no war and democracy has prevailed.

I agree with them. Let's bring the troops home TODAY.

I am not a Dem or a Rep, but I can't help but wonder about this. The freshman Democrats in Congress that won their seats by running on certain immigration platforms are now having trouble following through. And, before it is said, it is not ONLY the Republicans blocking them. So, in conclusion, Bush SUPPORTED this bill, and the Democrats are lacking the necessary backing from their own party to make it work. Is this just proof the Democrats used underhanded tactics to win Congress? What do you think these Congressmen's supporters are thinking now?
