Total conman - shifting taxes into stealth taxes and making it appear that he is doing you a favour - next April whill be the public real whine time - when the new 20% tax threshold hits home - after scrapping the 10% bracket we will all be paying more tax - good con.

Then think back to the Child Tax credits system - complete farce and still THOUSANDS of people overpaid and nothing done except to recoup the money causing more stress and grief to parents - that isn't taking into account all the people that should be getting it and aren't BUT are being pursued by threat of court action for money they have never had.

Ask yourself a question - where does all the money from fuel duty, air tax, road tax and all the other stealth taxes go - screwed if I know - except to fill the big hole created by his borrowing that has been well hidden

Anyone who can say that a budget is a tax cutter when it is the reverse is a conman and liar. Although I am not a Labour supporter, I used to think that Brown was a solid and reliable sort of guy who was not addicted to spin and lies like Blair. When I saw him grinning during his Budget speech, whilst pulling the wool over everyone's eyes I changed my mind completely. God help us when he becomes PM. He'll be no more cabinet minded than Blair, so all we will get is another flawed character with dictatorship leanings.

Well he's given us 10 years of economic stability and low interest rates. So if he's a conman he's a damn good one - which is a lot more than can be said of his Tory predecessors.

An arrogant and heatless individual who considers everyone to be beneath him, someone who respects no one and lives off the backs of the hard working less fortunate, yes, a con man and I would imagine a very lonely person if the truth were known.

I really don't think he would still be where he is if he were a conman.
I'm not into politics much, but if you put the whole bunch of them together you come up with a cabinet every time, so they can't all be bad now can they...
