How can we stop liberals from having control over anything? I mean, republicans should be the only party, right? Their viewpoint should be the only one being represented, right? I mean who out there wants both sides of a story? Who needs to really know what's going on, besides Bush? WHy can't we just stay the course and not challenge anything? WHy do we have to be so BIASED?

I'm U.S Permanent Resident living in United States (North Carolina) I've been here for 16 yrs. I'm orginially from Pakistan. Do I need a (pakistani) passport made or a visa (from pakistan) to travel to Puerto Rico? I know rules and regulations have changed in January, but I want to make sure if I need a passport to come back to North Carolina? I want to stay in San Juan or surrounding cities for 2 weeks for vacation. I need serious legit answers cuz i dont wanna get stuck there.

I'm not interested in biases displayed by commentators. They are paid to discuss issues and proffer opinions. They are not newscasters, any more than Olbermann or Jon Stewart are.

Having said that, can someone provide an example of a bias in an actual newscast aired on Fox?

I have been looking for a while at doing some travelling and hopefully improving my CV whilst doing so. I would like to work in the US and wondered what fields of work Internships are offered in. I am an ICT technician with nearly 4 years of exprience. (21 years old) But I do not have a degree I have two level 3 IT qualification (NVQ level 3 ICT practioner and Advanced Diploma for IT Practitioners

I have enlisted in the Navy, and when they did the FBI background check on me, a warrant for my arrest showed up, because of a misdemeanor charge form 1998 for a theft under $300. I did not complete my 24 hour comm. serv, so I assume that is what the warrant is for. But when my recruiter and I call around to state police,court houses, central processing station, and District attny's, they all say I have no warrant on file, but obviously the FBI has a warrant out for me. I need to get this resolved before I can leave for basic training in June, where and how can I get info on this warrant?

"rights" to accuse anybody of the neglect, molestation, or abuse of a child are accorded to the accuser, not the person accused.

this was all set up by the Mondale Act, a/k/a CAPTA, when Walter Mondale was vice president (btw, Janet Reno, who engineered mass killing in Waco, TX, got into office because she was the florida champion against anyone accused of such acts against children).

the constitution guarantees that an accused must:

1. have a speedy trial;

2. know who his accuser is;

3. have court-appointed counsel if he cannot retain his own attorney;

4. and other rights.

Outted a CIA agent? You Repubs would lose your collective minds.

You'd be screaming at the top of your lungs that whoever did it would have to be removed from office.

You'd be calling them traitors and anti-American and demand that person be charged with treason.

Fox News would run that story 20x a day.

Could you imagine Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh getting ahold of a story like that? We'd literally never hear the end of it.


But because the Repub administration did it, you act like nothing ever happened.

How do you self-proclaimed patriotic Americans casually brush off treason?

Tell me how you've rationalized it in your head. I need a good laugh today.

evidence to make a case for war that has cost over $400,000,000,000 so far, over 3000 soldiers deaths, over 20,000 wounded, collateral damage reaching 7 digits, plundging a country into civil war, and removing Iran's only two checks on power is considered absurd conservatives here. What would you consider a multimillion dollar investigation and resulting impeachment of Clinton for lying about cheating on his wife? Does anyone not catch the hypocrisy?

What is wrong with people to threaten people while the USA is at War defending its self from Terror? What is wrong with my tree huggers across the isle. I thought it was interest that the protested the St. Pat.s day parade, what do police do to drunk people who want to fight. St. Pat.s doing is the best day to get arrested all year that is to say people are drinking and also these people were stopping other peoples fun.

What do you think about the relatively stupid protests and terroristic threats against a State offical?

This is a follow up to my previous question about Alberto Gonzalez. A lot of people missed the point. The man is either a complete moron or he is pretending to be a complete moron(hmmm, sound familliar?). So backing up a bit, why would peiople vote for a presidential candidate (we all know who I'm talking about) who can bungle a two-word sentence? Why would common people want another commoner as their president. I, for one, would like the president of the United States to be a hell of a lot smarter than me. I want the president to be as smart as possible. So he makes fewer mistakes. You get it? Dumb people do dumb things. Like go to war for no reason.
