It's the "Stupid factor," the S factor: Some people -- sometimes through no fault of their own -- are just not very bright.
It's not merely that some people are insufficiently intelligent to grasp the nuances of foreign policy, of constitutional law, of macroeconomics or of the variegated interplay of humans and the environment. These aren't the people I'm referring to. The people I'm referring to cannot understand the phenomenon of cause and effect. They're perplexed by issues comprising more than two sides. They don't have the wherewithal to expand the sources of their information. And above all -- far above all -- they don't think.
Bush is not alone the media is to blame also .

President Bush has done a good job. He's obviously disappointed some conservatives because of some issues he's mishandled. His PR team is terrible. But given the choice between Bush, Kerry, Gore, I'll live with my decision. It wasn't a mistake.

I do not agree with everything that Bush has done, but I do feel he was the best of the choices that were offered.
I still support the war. There is a lot we don't know and there is a credible enemy in Islamic Terrorists.
I think his social policies, out of control spending, stance on immigration, and giving up on social security are wrong.

I'm a conservative that jumped the GOP ship in 2004 when I realized that Bush is a criminal--and not a conservative. I realized that what he is doing is unconstitutional.
I wound up voting for Michael Peroutka (Constitution Party) in '04.

thank you for your politeness, it's refreshing! I am a humble person who admits our President has made some mistakes but I also have great admiration for his stay the course attitude!

We did NOT make a mistake electing Bush.
The only mistake he has made is not standing up for himself louder to the democrats who are playing politics!
What do you think the mistake was?
Are you talking about the war???
Don't make me start posting links on all the democrats who praised him for the war, and all the links validating the reasonS for the war!
