This is a follow up to my previous question about Alberto Gonzalez. A lot of people missed the point. The man is either a complete moron or he is pretending to be a complete moron(hmmm, sound familliar?). So backing up a bit, why would peiople vote for a presidential candidate (we all know who I'm talking about) who can bungle a two-word sentence? Why would common people want another commoner as their president. I, for one, would like the president of the United States to be a hell of a lot smarter than me. I want the president to be as smart as possible. So he makes fewer mistakes. You get it? Dumb people do dumb things. Like go to war for no reason.

Yes, no disrespect meant to people who are genuinely retarded and genuinely in third grade. Mr. Bush is a willful dumbass. He's not retarded. He's not in third grade. He has had all of life's greatest opportunities given to him on a silver platter, yet he has chosen to disregard these gifts and take the path of least resistance, the path of the drunken pig farmer.

No disrespect meant to genuine drunken pig farmers either...

Hey! That is an inappropriate and unfair comparison.

"Retarded" people are very well-meaning and kind, and through no fault of their own have slower thinking processes and possibly mental illnesses from either birth defects or head injuries. They are generous and polite people that have distorted views on the world around them and they deserve our help, not scorn.

Also, give some credit to our public school system. Most third graders can handle complete sentences very well, and would be insulted at your implication that they cannot.

I suppose you'll have to have answers from 54% of people who voted in the last election. The majority of the country re-elected him... AND he won the popular vote against Kerry.

As for the bungling of 2-word sentences... comic relief. We now have a vernacular of words he never said, but that are fun to attribute to him... like dignitude, strategery, and expenseful. Remember though, he is "plenty smart" and "reads good."
