Really just trying to get the Chickenhawk-neo-con spin on this.

Maybe if you listen to the president speak once in a while, you will know why he does things. Just a thought!

He explained that he is not willing to have people afraid to come into his office and speak their mind when they have a concern about something.

Now, why do you want Karl Rove to testify? The president is allowed to fire those attorneys for political reasons, and for reasons other than political. SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM???

You are concerned about a which hunt trying to accuse someone of lying for a reason for someone being fired, when the reason could be either!!!

RIDICULOUS!

Same reason President Clinton was VERY against having his staff questioned, and he stated it correctly and eloquently (not that the more seditious members of our country would accept it):
If the cabinet and staff of the U.S. President live in fear that they will be called into a political court seeking political points for a political battle, with their careers in the balance, just to end up treated as "guilty until proven innocent", then they will NEVER give the President what they REALLY think as advice.

They will always hedge in what they say.

You can't run a country that way.

I'm a democrat. I hated it when they tried to do that to our President (Clinton).

I hate it now.

Forget neo-con spin. It's wrong. Get over your hatred of President Bush (or any President) and put our country FIRST, ahead of your political agenda.

Do the same no matter who the President is.

Because the truth would expose one more corrupt act of the Bush Administration. How many more will there be? How many more before people finely have had enough?

Is this the smoking gun the Democrats are looking for?

The Admin. and their supporters claim other Pres. fire attorneys and they are correct, but not like this or for these kinds of reasons. What we have in this case is corruption, pure and simple corruption.

Because, as usual, BushCo has things to hide.

To quote all the Bushies when the Patriot Act was enacted, "If you've done nothing wrong, you've nothing to hide."

Under oath, and on the record. That's the ONLY way to get the truth, or to hammer those who lie.

Behind closed doors, off the record, means NOTHING except his aides have something to hide.
