People criticize Bush because they say only 30% of Americans support the War in Iraq, and therefore we should end the war.

But what if 70% of America wanted something OUTRAGEOUS??

What if 70% of America wanted, say, rape to be legal. Should we legalize rape just to appease the Majority?

Liberals always want this country to pander to the wants of every fringe minority, but when it comes to the war, it's MAJORITY RULE, BABY!!!

So which is it?

Situation, bro in law got stopped in our home town. He was very argumentative, and rude to the officier that stopped him. The situation escalated to a much higher level, when he got out of the car and agressively went towards the officier. After several mins, and back up he was hand cuffed and taken to jail. The car was searched and was found under the driver's seat. He's a twice covicted felon, agg. assault, and a sex with a minor-felony count. (more details can be said if you want to email me questions)
1st question - How long will he be in prision for the firearm charge? (It's gone to the Feds for prosecution)
2nd question - What are the chances that his felony assault on a peace officier will go along with it and how much time?
3rd question - Can and should his wife be prosecuted for supplying firearms to a known felon? She lied on the forms to acquire the guns while living with/married to the felon.

I am SO sick and tired of PC types reporting any question or answer with which they disagree, regardless of whether any rule was actually broken.

I just received the following violation notice regarding an answer I posted earlier today, and am positively amazed at the hyper-sensitivity displayed by the PC police.

"Question: Do Cons believe that freedom of speech should be restricted and criticism of Christianity should be illegal?

Question Details: When have you ever heard a conservative express that desire? Muslims are the ones who burn down embassies and riot in the streets over any perceived insult to their religion. Christians generally shake our heads at the juvenile insults hurled our way and go about our lives."

Seriously, shouldn't Yahoo actually READ alleged violations before simply pulling the plug?

I know i am not alone in wanting to see the liberal scourge purged from his country. If you do not adhere to the Christian principles Pres Bush advocates, you are a traitor.
Support and obey Pres. Bush's decisions, support our troops, and do not accuse them of being murderers- they are heroes, and deserve our respect. All of the troops support Pres Bush, and the ones that don't are traitors. The soldiers serve the president, so naturally they will respect him.
The librals who attack Bush and the war need to be arrested and executed- they are the true threat to freedom-For those who share my hatred for liberals- how can we cleanse America of liberalism? One idea is from an early grade force students in school to worship jesus. I noticed that most everything that is twisted about the liberal midset is thier lack of faith in jesus Christ. In time of war, if you don't agree with what is happneing- shut up!!! Complain after we win. I just want these liberal scum removed fom my country.

I lived in a town and had AT&T for my phone and DSL.

When I moved to the middle of the woods and mountains, they have no DSL available here. I do not have my own personal computer even hooked up here. I use my boyfriend's computer under his name. He has another service that comes with his phone service.

I cancelled my AT&T DSL and phone service when I moved here, yet AT&T is trying to charge me a $100.00 fee? Can they do that?

If they would have provided DSL in this area I would have continued their service and hooked up my own computer here.

It seems like they should be paying ME a fine, cause they cannot provide me what I was paying for!

HELP!!

"It appears we have appointed our worst generals to command forces, and our most gifted and brilliant to edit newspapers! In fact, I discovered by reading newspapers that these editor/geniuses plainly saw all my strategic defects from the start, yet failed to inform me until it was too late. Accordingly, I'm readily willing to yield my command to these
obviously superior intellects, and I'll, in turn, do my best for the
Cause by writing editorials - after the fact."

I've noticed that some people here give others a thumbs down just because they dislike them, regardless of the content of their answers. For example, I posted a question a few days ago in which I asked how old the people here at Yahoo!Answers Politics were. One of the answerers just stated her age, and for some strange reason, she got a bunch of thumbs down! This so reminds me of grade school!

Not trying to sound cold hearted here but just what is Iraq in the sense of sacrifice to America, really, and, truly, compared to other batlles, wars, the U.S. has engaged in...

In Iraq, after four years, 3100+ Americans killed; In our great Civil War, after 4 years 400,000 american soldiers killed; WWI, after 1.5 years 100,000+ american soldiers dead; WWII, after 4 years, 400,000+ american soldiers dead; Korean war, after 3 years, 54,000+ dead, Vietnam War, after 13 +years, 54,000 dead.

In the U.S., each year, 40,000 plus americans are killed by violence, and, 40,000+ are killed in automobile accidents.

Is Iraq a war, a peace keeping mission, a military intervention, just what is Iraq? Do we think WAY to hard about Iraq?

Using the Bush Doctrine, the US can invade, occupy, and kill the citizens of a foreign country just because the US thinks the foreign country might be a threat. Can't we use the same justification in everyday life? Can't I just kick somebody in the balls because I fear he might be a threat? Even if he isn't a threat, it's how I feel that's important, right?

Either confess or spend the rest of your life in jail.
I do not believe their confessions are true.

I live in FL. Was hired in Nov under the premise that I would work full time from 4pm-12am. Once hired, was placed at a post, but when some of my paperwork did not go through, they removed me from the post until issue was fixed, which was 3 days later. They gave my position to someone else, and then placed me at another post. A month later, they removed me from that post and then cut my hrs to 20/week and are now unwilling to add more hrs. I have no medical insurance, they still have not instituted direct deposit (after 4 mos), and I have a family to raise, so this situation is a nightmare. Is there any legal recourse I can take with this company? FL is a right to work state, so I know that seeking legal action (if any) would be difficult. Is there anything I can do? Is what they are doing legal? Thanks for any help/feedback you can provide.

I propose we all start using more aerosol cans, styrofoam with cfc's, and convert our cars over to freon.

We were told to stop using those things in the early 80's, as they were causing a new ice age.

So if we start using them again, will it balance out the climate?
