Yes, yes, and yes.

Yes - it's current plutocratic form of government would be a great disappointment to the patriots who sacrificed their lives for a democracy.

Yes - it's imperialistic unilateral wars and disregard for international law rank it among the top three greatest threats to peace in the world today.

Yes - no plutocracy is truly a free country.

No, I do not find the U.S. to be a failed country, or a threat, or anything other than a very lucky place to be born in this world. Our freedoms are very precious. Rather, I find this President to be a failure, and a possible threat to world peace in general, not to mention someone who doesn't seem to respect our Bill of Rights at all. Presidents come and go, bad and good, but our country's true ideals and freedoms continue.

No, not failed. The country is not a threat to the world, the Bush administration is a threat to the world. And ditto for the last question.

Do I believe that the USA a failed country? No. I believe we have the resources and the capabilites to live up to the hype, but we are suffering, at the moment under a FAILED PRESIDENT and his FAILED ADMINISTRATION.

A threat to the world? With the madmen in power we are currently suffering under, YES.

An other than free country? TWO WORDS: "PATRIOT ACT"

We are not a failed country. Since everyone treats us like a dog. The world has a problem and turns to the U.S. to fix it. When we don't do it fast enough or we start to do it, then the world throws restrictions on us. We need to pull back and start letting other countries come forward and fix the problems and let the U.S. have a seat and relax. Or maybe everyone can turn to China and see if they are willing to come forward to help. I think it is obvious that China won't put up with others insulting them.

I have lived in Europe (as has my sister), my parents have lived in Canada, my husband has lived in Argentina...and from my own experiences, and those of my family - I still believe that the U.S.A is the most free country in the world.

We have not failed as a nation because we are still democratic, and yeah, we do threaten those that threaten us just as I, as an individual, would become a threat to any intruder of my home that is threatening my child.

I do not believe that our country is failed. We are a threat to the world in the minds of people that do not believe in a free society - Muslims, Liberals, and Communists. We are absolutely a free country and that has proven to be complicated at times.

If you do, why are you still here? Leave! You are not needed here. Make room for some of the millions of people in other countries who want to come to this "failed" country legally.

We are not a failed country
just because George W Bush has failed us as a President doesn't mean that our country is in bad shape, thankfully we are free and we have voiced our opinions regarding W and his policies on war.
Hopefully this has nuetralized his war plans

Hands down we are still the freeist country in the world
