Just like in Vietnam our enemies see us fighting and know if they just hold on they will win the real battle, even tho they lose all the military fights. Good job Dems, Mission almost Accomplished. I just hope to see your faces when our country falls.

I believe that the Confederates were wanting the right to withdraw from the union which they had a right to do so in the Consitution. The Federalists would not accept it as it would take away the southern ports effecting trade as they were protectionists. The issue of slavery was a smokescreen as Abraham Lincon and many Unionists wanted to deport freed slaves to make more room for the whites in fact Abe was a racist did not believe in rights for blacks . The Confederates just wanted the right to self determination but the Unionists would not accept it so in my mind the war was an act of aggression by the Unionists.

the usage of drugs, knowing that this is not really doing them any good .If the police enforcement had actual movie footage that shows individuals and young students being put into body bags because of them using drugs and actual morgue footage alone with pictures of individuals being crippled and laid up in hospital beds because of drugs and alcohol, then this just might prove the point and get their attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surely the best thing about capitalism is the ability we consumers have to 'vote with our feet.' Given that China has an appalling human rights record, performs abortions without consent at 8 months, kills prisoners on demand to supply organs to Western countries and operates sweat shops to mass produce cheap goods why do we, the consumers, continue to purchase products that are made there? The best way to speak out against the Chinese government would be to stop financing them!
