I agree with you whole heartedly. The problem that I have found is you can't explain to most people that this is an issue, that it takes money out of "our" pockets, here in America. It is very difficult to even buy some types of products that are not made in China, Taiwan, etc. They might be cheaper, but they are also cheaper made. People these days would rather buy a piece of partical board furniture, that will last 1 or 2 years (if you don't move it), made in china, instead of buying quality, all wood pieces, that are sometimes even cheaper. Just like people and companies will hire illegal immigrants to do their work here, instead of paying the same (or sometimes a little more) to support our own people. It will end up destroying us as a country of super power status, and will have affects to all in the US.

America is committed to economic globilization in an effort to stave off military confrontation with China. China has a whole class of "invisible" young people that slipped through the one-child policy but were never registered. They are called "black people" and they wander from city to city, village to village, willing to work for next to nothing. At any time, China can manipulate the American economy whether for military goals or economic domination. China holds the vast majority of our record deficit in treasury bonds.
We simply cannot have any other style of government in America without awakening the sleeping dragon we call China. We must fund the lop-sided trade with China to keep China happy buying our US treasury bonds. We must. We are locked in.

we dont finance china they finance themselves, remember half of the western world sanctioned them and put in place embargos under the behestment of the USA. if they can out produce cheap crap better than anyone else its not down to consumers buying the stuff its down to "the welcoming arms of capitalism" . china has hoodwinked the world, its only a matter of time before they use all the wealth its made to weaken the dollar and make itself the worlds only super power. in a nut shell were all fuc'ked. speak out against china never! we welcome our new masters. long live chairman mao lets all wave our little red books and celebrate.

I agree, but unfortunately they are also an important ally in the east, so there will probably never be a big movement in the U.S. to make them change their ways. Ultimately it is up to the Chinese people to stand up for their rights anyhow. I know, easier said than done, but it has been done before.

China makes good quality products at low prices. Thank Walmart for bringing those products to the US public.
If Nazis did the same, they would still be in power.

The British Government is worse - stop buying British. I do, I try to ensure that everything I buy/eat is sourced from abroad.
