Does this mean that people that oppose the war should be in Iraq right now supporting the citizens that don't want us there? When you say we need to fight in the war if we support it does that make anti-war "people" hypocritical?

Hi, I live in Scotland, UK. My father passed away last year, and recently the local authority has been sending an oustanding bill to recover an overpayment made by them towards his welfare benefits as he was disabled. This has been going on for a few months. Now, the local authority is sendign these same reminders to my mum, and threatenign that they will take leagl action to recover the debt. The thing is my mother lives with me (i own the house) and has signed a trust deed to protect her against bankruptcy. At the time of my father's death, he had also signed a protected trust deed.

Given all the evidence, can the local authority still take action against my mum, and more importantly can they take action against me to recover the debt which runs into thousands of pounds due to the local authrities incompetence.

Please help, I fear that I may lose my house over this and end up on the street. What will happen to my young family?

I refer to the survey here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6464277.stm
Termed
'Deteriorating lives' commissioned by the BBC, ABC News, ARD German TV and USA Today. It was conducted by D3 Systems.

where 53% of Iraqis surveyed- indicated America was wrong to have invaded- (no comment was made on the illegality of whimsically invading a sovereign nation without due process or global consent).
American views?

Will Charest's PLQ retain their mandate, or will Boisclair's call for sovereignty resound among enough voters to return the PQ to government? How important will the ADQ be in forming a government, if at all? If the PQ wins, how long will it be before Referendum III? Will it pass?

This question is asked primarily of our Canadian friends. If you either have no opinion, or have no idea what I'm talking about, please refrain from wasting server space.

Does the language of this war deem it impossible to "win"?

Do you understand why the ME has people who are wanting for the destruction of the west?

Do you understand why Bush will never allow Osama's capture?

Do you understand why Al Qaeda has recruits from all over the globe? These people aren't only ME erner's.

Their fearless president Nixon is credited with ending US involvment in Vietnam. he pulled the troops out of vietnam because he realized too many americans were dieing. its very similar to what democrats want to do now. we realize that iraq has became a complete and total disaster, and nothing more than a huge civil war. dont you think republicans are being huge hypocrites now for saying liberals are "un-american" when they did the same freaking thing during vietnam?

Is he neglecting a fundamental cornerstone of British governance- providing tax-funded quality education? Is he negating government responsibilty for education and failing public school systems? Furthermore is corporate sponsorship in education a conflict of interest- not to mention pay for peers? What happened to all our tax dollars intended for government schools?

the father of my children works for cash to avoid paying his child support. For the past two years the attorney general's office has tried to serve him papers for enforcement. Which he has avoided. He has recently had different people contact me to drop the child support. He and his wife had both had my children to ask me to drop the child support. I recently had to contact the police because there had been threats. they mentioned to my oldest about getting rid of me. i'm lucky if he pays 20 dollars once every 3 to 6 months. I provide medical and dental insurance and i have to pay all out of pocket expenses. He owes over 30,000 in child support. I even contacted one of those support kids and they haven't done anything. when he does see his kids he doesn't buy anything. I buy my kids clothes and shoes. I've been supporting my children on my own. i'm a single mother and because I work i don't qualify for any assistance. He's avoided paying child support and providing any medical support
