I refer to the survey here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6464277.stm
Termed
'Deteriorating lives' commissioned by the BBC, ABC News, ARD German TV and USA Today. It was conducted by D3 Systems.
where 53% of Iraqis surveyed- indicated America was wrong to have invaded- (no comment was made on the illegality of whimsically invading a sovereign nation without due process or global consent).
American views?

The stubborn, recalcitrant, unrealistic ones will never concede that. They still think Vietnam was a good idea. The rest of us knew Iraq would be a disaster before it started.

I am no longer a young man and have learned through experience that Descartes was right. He said there are 3 types of lie; the lie, the damned lie, and the statistic. You start quoting statistics and I smile at your simple mindedness. As for America "whimsically" invading (Iraq) without due process or GLOBAL CONSENT? That's a bit like Bruce Lee asking permission of the city counsel to kick a bully's butt. How ridiculous. Perhaps I should have picked a living example, but do you really think Bruce Lee would ask permission of anyone to respond if some fool walked up and slapped him across the mouth? Inasmuch as the US military is quite capable of totally devastating the entirety of Europe - hell, our Air Force could do it without bothering the ground troops - your thoughts are not particularly needed. Certainly your permission is not. Wake up and smell the coffee. You sound like one of those idiotic left-wing Frenchmen.

You know what I think that you Democrats have your head so far up your a**. We are doing this for the security of our country against Osama Bin Laden and your schrewing things up. And + if we leave now the insuregons will come in and seek revenge on the loyal Iraqis who are pro democracy and well have another 9/11 against the U.S. All you democrats want is money. You don't care about the future of America only what you can get if you backstab and mudsling off the Republicans who actually care a little bit of the foundation of America. The democrats used to be the working man of America but now your lazy, sabatonic, greedy unjust crap!

Iraqis: Life is getting BETTER!
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/iraq/article1530762.ece
"The survey of more than 5,000 Iraqis found the majority optimistic despite their suffering in sectarian violence since the American-led invasion four years ago this week. "
"Only 27% think there is a civil war in Iraq, compared with 61% who do not, according to the survey carried out last month."
"By a majority of two to one, Iraqis believe military operations now under way will disarm all militias. More than half say security will improve after a withdrawal of multinational forces. "

You are talking about the past. We can't change the past only the future. The real question is how do we get our troops out of there with least amount of damage to the indigenious population.

sure, I merely heard on the information approximately how lots this conflict is going to cost us. This, besides the fact that if, is asserting that the conflict lasts for 10 yrs.! i do no longer probably think of that the american people will enable this to proceed for any 10 yrs., do you? I even have been in comparison conflict from this is inception, i might desire to discover no explanation for our going to a u . s . that had performed no longer something to us & invading. i might desire to bypass alongside with eliminating Saddam & sorting out as quickly as & for all even if there have been WMDs there yet, as quickly as we had taken him out & shown that there have been no WMDs, we ought to consistently have left those people to administration their very own affairs, in the event that they needed a Civil conflict, then so be it, it replace into their business enterprise, no longer ours!

As your question proves, there are "stubborn, incalcitrant, unrealistic" people in EVERY country (funny you don't say which country you're in or what your citizenship is)
Not every American supports bush.
