Very interesting question. What would it be? I mean they had a war on poverty, a war on drugs, a war illiteracy. What happens to everything they put the "war slogan" on.....MORE OF IT!!! The war on terror is a hoax created by our government to make us submit to their new ways of tracking all of us(RFID chip, National ID).

The ones responsible for it all are very evil elites of the world wanting a one world government. As best said by George SR., a NEW WORLD ORDER. For those who don't know what that entitles. It's a one world government, one world police, one world religion. Your every step, transaction, vacation, purchase will be tracked, traced and stored.

A win in the war on terror to me would be the elimination of islamofascism. Is it going to be easy and short? no. It is going to take longer than our lifetimes. But the alternative is a growing islamic population that sees its destiny as the imposition of islamist theocracy on the world and the elimination of democracy in general. They do not hate us because of our purchase of their oil at blackmail prices. They hate us because we do not bow to them and convert as they wish us to. They are commanded by their holy book to spread their cult, using force if their "invitations" don't work. And so-called "moderate" muslims try to sweep this reality under the rug, but in any majority muslim society, the islamofascists eventually always bubble to the top of the command structure.

What are we going to do in 100 years when they outnumber us AND have nukes? We cannot ignore this and choose appeasement today. The administration we have today has recognized the need to supress the military capabilities of these fanatics and keep them from gaining technologies that will enable them to gain an equal footing.

Their mindset is not like the old USSR, where the leaders and citizens both had a desire not to die. These islamowhackjobs WANT to die. So Mutual Assured Destruction as a deterrant will not work against ahmaweeniejob and his ilk. And Diplomacy will not work either. They do not view compromise as an end goal to peace. They view it as a way to further weaken their enemy and as moving the line in the sand a few lengths closer to their only end goal: the elimination of all other religions and cultures worldwide, and the rewinding of the global clock to a tenth century islamic theocracy.
