If the Chancellor doubles ''road tax''on 4X4's,where will the extra money go?It wont make any difference to ''emissions''because people will just bleat and pay up,or dealers will just knock off 200 pounds from purchase price to cover the ''inconvenience''.So what next Mr Brown?

Al incoming police applicants must not have used drugs in the past two years-it seemed strange to say "two years" as opposed to "no drug use"....so do they use Hair test, blood test, or the standard uring test for incoming applicants?

This is on Yahoo's front page right now:

"Four in five Iraqis have little or no confidence in U.S.-led forces and most think their presence is making security worse, but despite that only about a third want them to leave now, a poll showed on Monday."

Methinks perhaps they like the comfort of not having to provide their own security, but they're criticizing the hell out of what we're doing.

Cons?

I was at a bar the other night, and a guy was arrested for disorderly conduct. When he was bailed out, he came out with a gash taken out of his nose, and a huge welt on his forehead. He said that the police had washed his clothes for him because the cops said they were covered and caked with blood. Upon further investigation on my part, I spoke with the bartender of the bar at which the arrest took place in the parking lot of. There is still the blood in the parking lot from where they smashed his face against the ground. I asked the bartender, generically if there was a scuffle with the police last night, and he said “yeah, actually, some guy got the **** kicked out of him by the cops.” I’m just wondering about the legality of them washing his clothes without his consent. By the way, this is in Washington state.

Today it appears the USA braggs about another tortured Muslim who "admitted" he caused another terror target to be hit. I hope someone is video taping the "hearings" when these men are being harmed. Will the world court of justice try and convict the USA for its illegal and unethical behavior?

Every Sunday, The Binghamton Press publishes the new troop deaths within a one hundred mile radius of Binghamton in their paper. Every Sunday there are 10-20 listings.

At that rate, at least half of the 3000 U.S. troop deaths came from that region.

He started the 5th unfair war with Iraq, smiling, Why? There are more than 22,000 young boys with wounds, 3,200 death, a deficit of more than 400 billion dollars. Is he crazy? Or maybe all of us are crazy? How many guys do you know with this type of cynic smile? Are they dangerous? Do you agree? Lets help The Noble People of America to be united again, with the Ideology accepted by all cultures and by Jews, Hindus, Christians, Muslims and men of Good Will: "Lets all of us, become to be: Genuinely Sincere, Grateful and Respectful with The One Who Gave us Life, with Mother Nature, and with ourselves" If you like this mail, please send again to all politicians, please.

are you getting your information from somewhere else, because there is nothing i can find that shows congress cut funding during the vietnam war. in January of 73, nixon signed a treaty ending all american offensive engagements in vietnam. then in december of 1974, basically two years later, congress did vote to cut funding to the SOUTH VIETNAMESE military, not the US. but this was after nixon had already said he was pulling out. so where are you getting your information that the democrats cut funding...or are you just making crap up again.

Their main argument is that the terrorist will follow us home....but from the looks of things, I'd say the Sunnis and Shi'ites would be too busy fighting each other if we left....If this is the only reason to keep us over there in Iraq, then why do we need to stay in the middle of their civil war

You can't say we'd look irresponsible for leaving when we started it, because we already look like douche bags to the rest of the world, and they already want us to leave

If you are afraid of them forming a fundamentalist theocratic government (Sunni or Shia), then at least you know that with our large arsenal of conventional weapons it's easier to topple a centralized government than a terrorist insurgency.

So, give me some reasons why I am wrong...or do you like spending forklift loads of money on Iraq's freedom?

I'm serious. Without name-calling or childish antics, could you explain to me how, exactly, making Iraq so dependent on us is good for them or for us?

I don't think anyone can logically dispute that they are very dependent on us right now.

So how is it better for them to need us there to survive, as opposed to us making them start to stand on their own two feet?
