Very low. The number of people recalled from the IRR is very small.

And generally they will contact you asking if you want to volunteer. 99% of the time the slot will be filled by somebody who says 'yes.'

well, my husband was supposed to ETS in May and now he's stuck in the stop loss. he will be returning to iraq for 3rd tour. if your unit is scheduled for deployment soon, you may not even ETS. if you do ETS, you can be recalled if they need your MOS and especially if you have less than 8 years service.

If you still have time left on your contract, I would suggest you go AGR not National Gurad or IRR.

what's your MOS? If it is a short MOS then be advised. If it a heavy MOS you are good to go.
