Actually the two biggests cons are insurance and parking lots/garages. Insurance (especially medical) gets more expensive all the time and provides less and less coverage. Look on the back of your stub next time you park your car- it says, more or less, "We don't take responsibility for anything that happens to your car while it's parked here. All we do is give you a place to park".

Of the two you mentioned, Millenium Bug was the con. Global Warming may not be entirely caused by humans, but we should still be concerned. BTW, excuse me if I don't consider Michael Crichton as a good source to back up your semi-argument, Tony.

Neither! The biggest con was when the World Bank conned the US Government and Pres. Woodrow Wilson into thinking that it was good for the country. It was Dec. 23, 1913.

They used the word "federal" in Federal Reserve Bank to have the people think that it was a government department.

It was said that if the citizens had known that it was the banking
industry that there could very well have been a revolution.

They hated the banking industry because a few years earlier the banks held back on cash and credit and stopped the flow of produce coming to market and ruined thousands of farmers...all this in favor of bank profits.

The IRS is also an independent organization...it is the collection agent for the Federal Reserve.

Global Warming, people around the world have been buying this BS for years.Oh they can prove it's getting warmer but not that the cause is man. The temperature has gone up and down for thousands of years long before man.

Global warming of course. The millennium bug came and went. That won't be resurrected for another 1,000 years. The scam of global warming will be around for years, or at least until educated people debunk the myth of the man made component of this scam

ewwww...good one. I think Gobal Warming. While the Y2K was over hyped there was a definite end to it....2000.
Global Warming however really has no end....and has effected so many things and so many countries. Semi-fact rains supreme.
Look at how PETA has used Global Warming to further its cause, and how Al Gore has tired to give his life meaning through Global Warming. No telling the billions of dollars that have been spent in the name of Global Warming, a good sum of which was spent on enrgy costs....

Global warming... There have been major changes in the climate before and I'm pretty sure the conditions then weren't due to Al Gore's huge energy wasting mansion alone.

Neither!

The Biggest Con is George Warprofits Bush!

He conned the American Public out of two elections!

And conned them into invading a country that was of absolutely no threat to us contrary to the Geneva Convention and International law!
