where will the money go?

If the Chancellor doubles ''road tax''on 4X4's,where will the extra money go?It wont make any difference to ''emissions''because people will just bleat and pay up,or dealers will just knock off 200 pounds from purchase price to cover the ''inconvenience''.So what next Mr Brown?

if its anything like here in America.. the money will go to something totally different or to make another dept of the gov. bigger which will mean next year taxes will have to go up because they newly made or larger dept. now needs more money to do nothing at all.... all and all.... no place in goes into a black hole called gov. waste...

like here in North Carolnia we have a state run lottery... or a tax on the poor and stupid... the money was to go to the schools.... but now the governor wants to take 50% of the money to pad the states budget so he can spend more money... on... nothing.... gov can never be trusted with money they will always waste it on... just stupid things.. because it is to hard to track it

what is funny if the gov cut it's spending by just 10% it could do something that would really help the over all health of any country.... like re-build the road system.... upday the power grid.... put in new lighting systems all over the nation... maybe start in 1 state or area.. and totally rebuild the school systems with up to date technology... but instead it keeps spending the money on that black hole of nothing and then raising your taxes to do more of the same.... nothing
