I am SO sick and tired of PC types reporting any question or answer with which they disagree, regardless of whether any rule was actually broken.

I just received the following violation notice regarding an answer I posted earlier today, and am positively amazed at the hyper-sensitivity displayed by the PC police.

"Question: Do Cons believe that freedom of speech should be restricted and criticism of Christianity should be illegal?

Question Details: When have you ever heard a conservative express that desire? Muslims are the ones who burn down embassies and riot in the streets over any perceived insult to their religion. Christians generally shake our heads at the juvenile insults hurled our way and go about our lives."

Seriously, shouldn't Yahoo actually READ alleged violations before simply pulling the plug?

I'm Joining: The only posts I have ever reported are the ones calling for the assassination of the President. You can call him anything you choose, you can debate his intelligence, his sexual preference, his military service, etc...but you CANNOT call for his assassination. Other than that, knock yourself out and breathe easily in the knowledge that you will never be reported by me. Can you say the same?

stev: Don't hold your breath waiting for a response. Whenever I hae done exactly what you did, all I ever get is a form letter telling me that they take reports seriously, blah blah blah...

(janus): What are you yapping about? Please explain what rule I violated. Mine was the answer, not the question. Further, I am a proud Michigander.

if it makes you feel better, I got one for calling my clone a clone (about a half hour ago). yet his account remains. Yes, they should read them before handing out violations...especially since they don't have control over the abuse. Good luck!

Oh yeah dude! I hear you! This is like my 8th account which the PIG'S at Yahoo keep banning due to my polite answers not that different from yours.

Yahoo is ruled by liberalism cancer. The best thing is to not even answer questions in the politics section. This is my first/last answer in politics.

I feel for your plight and hate the arrogance of the liberals. Don't worry...they can play on earth but when the time comes...they go to Hell.

There were SO MANY times when I give such a honest and well-written answers BUT only to be deleted. I feel kicked in the gut. I absolutely don't like people abusing the system like this.

I am actually afraid to write in the politics sections...looks like there is NO PLACE in this unfriendly world for Christians.

Yahoo MUST READ violations before deleting them...but they have only 3 people doing the deletions. They must deal with their unstaffed problem so honest people like you and me don't suffer.

Yahoo has obviously designed Violations and the reasons why. Big deal. If you can't stand the HEAT, bugger out of the. kitchen...

You live in California? Wow, it's only classified as the land of fruits & nuts. Now, whoa, whoa, I did not establish that ... California did.

Observation of your use of a language very related to Q. & retort, shows that you are confused about your strategy to come across to the general Public in a reasonable way. Re-think your terminology before asking biased Q's.

I've been flagged for less. I don't think they read the reason behind the violations. Yahoo just gives them the violation notice. Just too many people reporting. You can try to dispute it, but again, you get a form letter and then they ignore you. Good times...

I don't think you should have been reported, but perhaps they thought your reference to Muslims was offensive. Some people will sometimes use ANYTHING as an excuse to report another. By the way, I'm a liberal and I've been reported many times, so don't think this just happens to conservatives.

unless it's something like what happen to "jhl" why bother, really?

i get violations from time to time - even one on a question about John Stamos because I said
"Enough of John Stamos and his Mullet!"
Violation: Not asking or answering a question.

whether you're dem/rep/totally pc on any subject matter - it could happen.

They should. But they don't. I agree with you. I've had my answers removed simply because someone (and it isn't always the asker) didn't agree with me. Apparently the new trolls are the ones who just report answers they don't like because they know they'll be removed without question by Yahoo.

Well, if you have ever posted an answer on a certain spammer and pissed said spammer off, this person will go through your profile and report every question and answer you post. My account was suspended last week because of this..........after countering every single violation, my account was reactivated...................so good luck.

I've been hit with many similar violation notices for basically the same stuff. I always write back to dispute it and I'm still here even if they don't go back and fix the problem. I think its a matter of manpower versus the number of complaints they receive every day.

That is totally ridiculous. I liked your answer and feel that the ACLU has apparently taken over Y*A violations. God help us all.
I had an answer reported this morning that was appropriate and can not understand why it was in violation. So I emailed the censors and requested a thorough explanation so that I would know what is appropriate in the future.

If you want at least a chance of getting that violation removed and your points restored, you must post this in the 'forum' under 'wrongful suspensions and violations . Miraculously I got ONE restored . LMAO, just one out of many .
