I bought a laptop from Refurbdepot.com. It was delivered with hardware problems. I sent it back and clearly asked for a refund in my emails. If they send me a replacement, am I legally obligated to return it?

Depends on state law where you live. I would call them and tell them not to send another one, also I would call your credit card holder and check into their consumer protection policy. The last ditch effort would be with your State Attorney General office, Consumer Protection Division. Every state has one, usually on the web, but phone # is in your telephone book also, in the government pages.

you probably signed for the package, yes? just because youre irritated with the company doesnt mean youre entitled to a free laptop. send it back c.o.d. they might have sent it to you because you dont qualify for a refund. if you signed for it at the door, youll have to pay whether you ordered it or not.

Did you get the refund? If so, then yes you have to return the laptop. If not, keep it because you paid for it.
