If I were to send out a mass message giving the name and city of a registered sex offender, would that be considered deformation of character or slander or something like that? Could I be sued?

Not so good it seems. America is racked with drugs and crimes. Perhaps the US military needs to be withdrawn from the middle east and used in the US where most of the people are dying from crime, drugs and natural causes and NOT from terrorism. Ooops..I forgot. Americans don't generally care about this because it happens mainly to minorities. Next question.

I'm a native of Los Angeles and married to a Canadian. Our 10 month old son is now is a US citizen and we just got his Canadian citizenship. Two questions: Will I be able to keep my naturalized US citizenship? Second: What is Halifax Nova Scotia climate, culture, people, weather, restaurants, family, school life like? I know these are huge questions, but we are daydreaming about being closer to our family in Newfoundland. Plus we cannot afford the housing in Los Angeles. We love the water and definitely cannot afford a beach front home. Thanks for your feedback!

with 'No child left behind'

aren't our schools rewarding the losers and underachievers enough as it is without this,,,,courses get watered down to accept lazy kids with parents that want them in higer levels,

Esl and SPECIAL ED replace AP progrmans, music progrmas, journalism workshops etc,,,

give the winners and REAL students what they want,,,,gifted programs, AP COURSES,,, college preperation, specializeds clubs

this country has a ton of bright highschool students that fall through the fingers of the system,,becuase they aren't appreciated

do you want a bunch of Carlos Mencia's walking sround thinking they are smart,, becuase they 'weren't left behind'

Take the following possible scenario:

- American troops arrested key leaders in the Al-Qaeda network in Pakistan. Among the captured included Osama, and Ayman al Zwahri.
- Then Pakistani forces somewhat loyal to the Islamist movement claimed jurisdiction and placed the leaders under Pakistani arrest/protection.

The US want to extract the leaders for a trial, but religious leaders in Pakistan don't want them released without a guarantee of a fair trial.

1. What could we do to convince them to give us the al-Qaeda leaders? (special ops is out of the question, economic incentives? help from international org?)
2. Where would we try them? (American court? UN international court? EU court?)
3. Once we choose where to try them, what can we actually charge them with? (Piracy?)

Pakistan receives almost 1 billion dollars in aid annually. Pakistan fears that their temporary alliance will go away once bin laden has been captured.

Does anyone have a viable policy/solution for this?

Marine Corps Recruit Depot in san diego. and u witness a drill instructor kicking a recruit in the buttocls or even choking him. i know u wouldnt have jurisdiction in a military base but would u call the military police on base and report the incident or would u just simply smile to yourself and turn away? for your information hitting a recruit is totally against the law and it is just like any other crime. the marine corps is probably the only institution in america that their rite of passage of brutality is "covered up" by the united states especially by law enforcement.

life begins at conception , without a doubt , technology has proven that . a woman isnt told to get pregnant , so therefore making abortion illegal will not take any rights away from the woman . rape and incest is different .

Why don't we put all the one's in for life on death row and then carry out the sentecne. All they are doing is taking up space and costing the taxpayer.
A person goes to prison to serve time, not get an education on how to do his crime even better.
It is really sad when a person in prison has more rights than we do on the outside.

Americans couldn't care less than it already does about it's soldiers. The only group that cares less is America's own government who not only fails to supply them well, but fails to care for them as veterans. Ask yourself why America took 60 years to build a WW2 memorial for it's vets AFTER most of them were dead.

Isa. 9:6, 7, RS: “To us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government [also KJ, AT, Dy; “dominion,” JB, NE; “princely rule,” NW] will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called ‘Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’ Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end.”

Why not just put them on death row.
And then carry out that sentence.
There is more poeple in prison for non violent and drug crimes than there is space for them; yet they let killers go loose on poor police work.
Some laws give a man more prison time for hitting a women than for killing her. Where is the justice in that?
