because many people feel that, for example, if somebody murdered someone, they should serve life, as they have taken someones life away, so they don't particularly deserve to have their life.
these are the same people that tend to believe that if someone commits a murder, killing them because of what they have done, is an easy way out for that person, they don't have to put up with the guilt, they don't have to live with what they have done.
i personally believe that they should bring back torture.
if someone is so coldhearted as to take away the lives of even one person, they should suffer.
no-one in my opinion has the right to play with lives like that.

I think they put them in prison for life because they don't want some maniac running around and killing innocent people. I agree that some police don't understand sometimes but they still do good work. Everyone makes mistakes. And I also agree about the man and women issue..you are right..where is the justice in that?

There are many problems with our justice system. A person has to ask themselves: Is it more humane to put a person in prison for life or to give a quick sentence of death. This question is why people are still given both punishments.

There are a pair of motives. One is that civilized people do not basically positioned others to demise for motives of convenience, expediency, or because of fact bullets are affordable. although i'm going to admit I actual have frequently thought that shown newborn predators could desire to be destroyed like unwell animals. the different thought is that killing somebody ends their suffering. Madoff stated at present he might could desire to stay the the remainder of his existence laid low with the torment of what he did. i does not have faith him different than the actuality that his kin has thoroughly abandoned him and he gets no travellers in reformatory different than people desirous to place in writing books approximately him. Why positioned them out of their misery? enable them to go through and stay caged for existence. i'm getting your factor approximately money, yet i don't think of that must be or ever may be the stated reason for changing our penalty regulations.

That's why people should actually go to the voting polls and vote for the people who should represent us.....some of the laws reflect the ignorance of those who voted (or did not vote) and placed lawmakers into office who make dumb laws

I believe in the death penalty and I agree with you. However, I think everyone who commits a crime should be punished.
But if your sentence is more that 10 years......just kill em regardless of the crime.
