Marine Corps Recruit Depot in san diego. and u witness a drill instructor kicking a recruit in the buttocls or even choking him. i know u wouldnt have jurisdiction in a military base but would u call the military police on base and report the incident or would u just simply smile to yourself and turn away? for your information hitting a recruit is totally against the law and it is just like any other crime. the marine corps is probably the only institution in america that their rite of passage of brutality is "covered up" by the united states especially by law enforcement.

First of all, I would not be looking through the fence at MSRD, I would be too busy at that understaffed and ill equipped department to have time for that! Secondly, IF i did witness such an event, it would not be my place to do anything about it. The Marine Corps (like all branches of the military) has their own rules and regulations, and their own law enforcement! I was a marine and i am now a peace officer...... Nothing was ever done to me or to anyone around me that i would label "brutality" and I am proud of my service in the USMC! Sounds like sour grapes to me.... what happened? you couldn't cut it in boot camp?

The "victim" has his own avenues of recourse. A police officer would not have jurisdiction to take any action on base, and it is unlikely he would call the Provost Marshal's office without being certain that the act was a felonious assault; choking a recruit might be sufficient to support such a call, kicking him in the buttocks would not.

Oh, I WAS a police officer down there.

Sounds like you have a severely limited understanding of the requirements needed to survive in a combat scenario. The unit in battle is only as strong as the weakest person. Do You really want to put your life on the line with a person so weak mentally they could not survive a harsh environment. How else are you to learn of their ability's, unless they are tested in boot camp. The persons breaking point needs to be tested, to know his survival rate. Once again a person without any thought to all the other requirement required trying to voice an opinion without knowing all the facts

So, lemme guess....you got kicked out of Marine Boot Camp, and now you're all upset about it, right?

Didn't you get beaten up enough the last time you asked this stupid question? Or do you enjoy public humiliation?

flow purchase a short can of stupid string on the dollar keep (the three-4" tall ones). Wrap it in black electric powered tape, then start up bragging approximately your new "pepper foam." once you have have been given their interest, take it out as though to instruct them, and spray it at them.
