It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973. Despite all the talk about "honor and dignity," President Bush has apparently flushed his down the toilet. President Bush went AWOL!! Cheney himself also received 5 deferments! Both of these men are “Chicken Hawks.”

My ex and I have assets and money that we are still trying to disolve of. According to our divorce decree some of the items we dont agree upon are already spelled out in the decree. The ex is not wanting to split things as we already agreed upon and these items have been signed off already and notorized. What happens in a situation when one party isnt going by the decree? An example of my ex who was supposed to put money back into the joint account that we had but never did? Another example is that we have income from the previous year that is to be divided by percentages and the ex refuses to split accordingly and these items are already in the final decree. What happens now? The ex wants mediation but this stuff is already in the decree. What is the purpose of mediation and can that overwrite this contract of decree? What is the right thing to do. Ive tried discussing with the ex but they still refuse to try to work on an agreeable solution.

Sorry, but those are sovereign nations, and they can do what they want. The world is a dangerous place, ain't it.

What is the legal definition of an auto accident?
While trying to pass, my car hydroplaned and i went over to the left shoulder to avoid a collision, two cars were coming twards me. The first car passed with no problem, but the second car went over to the shoulder and almost hit me head on. I swirved back onto the road and she went over into the grass/ditch.
She started her car back up and moved so I got back on the road thankful to avoid the accident. I was later pulled over for improper passing
Her insurance company called me asking for my policy nuber for my insurance so she culd "inform" them, no claims were filed, she just wanted them to know. Her insurance agent even said "there were a few minor scratches and you have to look hard to see them".
I told her that I wouldnt give me policy number because im not charged with the accident. she has no reason to contact them.
Now I must ask, in AR, what is the "legal" definition of an auto accident? Serious answers only please.

Many are already serving their country just not in our fine military. Many work behind the counters of Starbucks and McDonalds serving and protecting our double lattes and Big Macs from terrorist attacks.

The insurance on my grandfathers pension had the beneficiary listed as my father. Because he has deceased, we were under the impression this wouild go to my dad's estate. The insurance company says they have to issue a cheque to my grandfather's estate. We know the executrix had tried to change the beneficiary once before, and my grandfather changed it back to my dad. We know that she will keep this and not distribute as per my grandfather's wishes. What legal action can be taken? Thanks.

I can't believe people who believe this, that the only people who join the army are the ones who have troubled childhoods and want to have an excuse to kill people legally. If you talk to people in the army (like myself) they would most likely say that they would prefer not to see battle and I dont think anyone ENJOYS killing people, well maybe a couple, but what ever happened to good old American patriotism and fighting for your freedoms etc. Is Old Glory not a beacon of respect anymore?

And screw anyone who starts this thread out by responding "Not since Bush got elected".

Check this out:

Apparently FNC is the only one that accurately reports the war in Iraq. They report on the allied victories, as well as the defeats.

On the flips side, MSNBC and CNN only showed defeats in Iraq, and simply did not report on the positive stories from Iraq, like coalition soldiers building schools and hospitals, etc.

Is America FINALLY sick and tired of one-sided news?

---BTW, I know this website is REALLY long, but at least take a look at the charts. They give a pretty good idea about the purpose and results of the study.

We all know that Al Gore can sin against the religion of Global Warming and then buy these carbon offsets as a pentance, but if the company that you are buying them from is your own, don't you stand to make alot of money profiting from this Global Warming myth?

Even before the midterm election, when the Republicans controlled all the branches of government, they came across as being angry and bitter at something. I never could understand what. Is there such a thing as "sore winners"? And it continues today. I'm hoping someone can explain this to me.

If politicians were forced to use VA hospitals when they need medical treatment, you think there will still be rote and rats in them? Would you support this legislation?

How can you bandy about words like "enemies" and talk so much about how we have to go fight our enemies.

Christ said specifically that we are to love our enemies (thus, neatly eradicating the whole concept of enemy, because they wouldn't be our enemies if we loved them), not bomb them.

What gives?

I feel when "all" politicians" and all those running for office are forced to go to VA hospitals when they need medical treatment, I believe there won't be rot and rats in them anymore. What do you think?
