I have some friends who were adopted from Colombia into the United States with families here. Now most of them are grown and are adults and have children of their own. There is only one thing missing in their lives and that is: They are questioning their ancestry and want to find their natural parents in Colombia.
I know it would be a massive undertaking but anything is possible in this world. I have always believed that. Could we get everyone together and have DNA taken on them and put the findings into a database and then do the same for the families who lost their loved ones, gave the kids up or were kidnapped and sold to orphanages in Colombia, have the DNA taken in Colombia of the families and then reunite them. I know it all sounds farfetched but it can happen. How much would it cost for one person to have a DNA test? That is my main question. Thanks for your help and understanding. These people want to know their roots in Colombia and know their natural parents.

What happens if we vote for an MP who has promised to support
say (just for example) A ban on men waring underpants in the park. But, when it comes to a vote in the house of parliment supports the continued practice of men wearing underpants in the park. This is surely a break down of trust between the electorate and the MP. The MP has put his party before the electorate and what is worse has lied to obtain a position of power. Abstaining would also be a break down in trust to the people that voted him in.

-its all bin laden's fault
-a secretly planned attack performed by U.S. government officials (including bush)
-or any other......

and what do you think is the motivation behind those attacks?

-to hate America more
-to kill more Americans and cause costly damages
-to have a reason to blame and therefor attack middle east (especially Afghanistan and iraq, two countries that hate America)
-to attack middle east for oil
-any other...........

the election process of selecting some national and local officials especially the president and vice president is too long and and seems too complicated and cost so much money. is there some ideas that we can simplify it and make it effective. i think this long process also makes some candidates spend too much money to the point of them being open to some big corporations and individuals influences.

“The Small Business Administration, for example, has rejected more than 70 percent of the loan applications from storm victims, many of whom are poor credit risks. Bush, however, said the agency has been overwhelmed by the flood of loan applications.

He said the agency has provided $2.6 billion in low-interest disaster loans to nearly 40,000 homeowners, renters and small businesses.

Bush, meanwhile, has spent relatively little time meeting with the victims of the flooding and touring the devastation in New Orleans. His visits there are often confined to meetings with political and business leaders.”

The country music crowd seems to be the most patriotic people in America (or at least they think they are), so why are they against freedom of speech?
