What do you want to get out of your time in service ?? What do you want to do after your service ?? The Air Force has its own accreditted College. So if you are after educational benefits the Air Force should be up there. If you want to travel and see the world then think about the Navy, Army or Marines. Of course with the Army you will be seeing either Iraq or Afghanistan more than anywhere else. Navy travels around a bit so I have heard. You have to decide which is best for you. Like the other has stated... Talk to all of the Branches and decide which is right for you. Just remember you have to decide what you want to do IN Service and what you want to do AFTER Service.

For Anyone, The Army, Its the Largest, which means plenty of opportunities for advancement. Its the Fastest Promoting branch. It has the most Jobs of any branch, 200+. It has the largest enlistment bonuses. The Army living quarters and Family Housing are equal to the Air Forces.

I'm a Navy Veteran and loved it. The AF has a great quality of life. Unless you like dirt and heat I would steer clear of the Army. Any choice you make, dump the female thing at the door. There is no gender in the military and nothing is worse than working with the chic who gets out of everything because she's a girl. Work as hard or harder than the guys and you will go so much farther. Also, don't sleep with everyone you work with. This is a common practice, work hard and go far. Good luck

look at it like this. the army is the largest branch which means more room for promotions which means more money especially if you want to make it a career. the navy and airfoce are more technical but promotions are slow. but easier work wise. then you have to think if you are in the navy you might get stuck on a boat for a long time. the airforce does deployments in rotations and they only go to secure areas. for the most part. and they only deploy for a few months. now the army. if you deploy since you are a female more than likly you will be in a some what safe area. they have the longest deployments. 1 year. so if you are doing it for education, gi bill, then i would go airforce, not the navy just because you might get stuck on a boat for a long time, and if you are looking for a career i would go army. yeah the deployments suck but more room for promotions.

I would recommend the Navy or the Airforce (Over the Army and the Marines) for a female. Those two services have the largest number of MOS's (military occupations specialties) that are based on technical knowledge versus physical strength.

It all depends on your skills and goals. For the medical field any are fine. For technology, the Air Force and Navy are much more advanced than the Army, and have more jobs with a civilian equivalent.

Just putting in my vote. I grew up in the Air Force and did 20 myself in the Army.

The Air Force is number one for women, then the Navy and then the army.
