The part I don't understand is why aren't you running for office? You've got my vote! I don't care what your political party is!

Well, there are several things on why immigrants were bringed.
First of all, these companies were ordered to bring immigrants as workers, much like in the past Chinese people were bringed to the U.S.A. to work on the railroads.
Second of all, due to labor laws (minimum wage, minimum age, healthcare, etc), many employers couldn't afford to legally pay workers and only the wealthy employers could afford to legally pay workers, these labor laws also reduced the amount of people that could be employed legally.
Third of all, the U.S.A. is currently underpopulated, birth control hampered the growth of its population and even decrease the population, so immigrants are needed to sustain development and even survival.
Fourth of all, cheap labor are needed, if the legal Americans couldn't afford be employed by employers, the employers look elsewhere.
As for legal Americans living in poverty.
I think that they already got the three basic things (food, clothing, and housing), or else they would be dead by now.
They should be employed, not only for them to be able to get more luxuries, but also for the benefit of their souls.
However labor laws shouldn't exist, since it reduce the amount of both potential employers and employees.

Thank you. I'll make sure I write down the number. We're encouraging all people to report illegal aliens and illegal alien hiring. Oh, and did you notice that Jerryelyn Jones, Principal of Curie High School in Chicago Illinois was fired so that a Hispanic Principal could take her job? Now, doesn't that just confirm the truth? Hispanics are not taking the jobs American Citizens don't want, they are trying to take over and are forcing us to give them jobs American Citizens already have and want to keep.
I'd like to know how many of the 65% of the Hispanic Students in Curie High School are sons or daughters of illegal aliens ore are illegal aliens themselves? How many of them have paid school fees and taxes? How about this Tom Ramos stacking the school council with Hispanics? It's time for us to research these people and find out whether they are here legally, voting legally, and whether or not they are abiding by the law. I hope Jones sues for discrimination, defamation of character, unlawful firing, etc. Additionally, I hope she will ride on a float in the Batavia Illinois Loyalty Day Parade as a symbol of how Loyal Americans are getting screwed by the preferential treatment to Hispanics and illegal aliens. Loyalty Day Parade is sponsored by the Batavia Il. VFW Post 1197 and takes place the first Sunday in May. Let's contact that post and enter the parade to show your loyalty to the United STates of America!!!!!!!

Do you own and run a private business?
Have you ever worked with illegals?
I have worked with them and now I own a small business.
Illegals drive down wages for American citizens. I worked for a Construction company and while we were preparing the footings for a building 3 wetbacks came up and offered to do the work for half of what the American born Hispanics were making so long as it was cash.
As a small business owner Electrical Contractor. hiring an American and paying all the taxes, FICA, insurance, and Workers comp to hire an individual at $10.00/ hour, I have to bill a minimum of $27.50/ hour to make a whopping $2.50/hour.
Plus, I have to train him to be a competent electrician over a period of 3 years. The training eats up all my so called profits for that man. I could pay an Illegal under the table $7.50 to do the same work and he is happy as he can be cause that is good wages for them. Then I make $20.00/hr.
Economically which makes more sense??????????
I don't do that but a lot of my competition does. That is why I just do minor repairs for basically peanuts. Get the illegals out and the government out and maybe I could pay a decent wage and still make a profit!
What part of that don't you understand?

Hey as$hole- cheap labor simply fills the void where lazy fu(ks who think they are " better than this" refuse to work. I own a business. I hired white males. I almost went under due to their laziness, sloppiness, lack of pride or work ethics, demands to be overpaid while lacking skills,no-shows, quitting and substance abuse. I now hire legal Mexicans, pay them more than what they want , have a successful business as well as a bunch of Mexican friends. Until Americans learn to work again, this country cannot do without cheap labor unless we are willing to give up a whole bunch of stuff (like produce for example). Or will you pay $20 for a head of lettuce.

The way to do it is to make mandatory background checks for legal status. Someone should light a fire under the feds as well. They only make token raids.

Sensible people understand that position perfectly well.
Its the same old bigotry voiced against immigrants that's been heard time after time throughout our history--and was probably directed against YOUR ancestors as well.
The truth is that Americans don't want the jobs immigrants do--and these people come here, do crap work for bad pay--but build a better life for themselves and become contributing members of society--and much better citizens than the racists and bigots who spreadlies about them.

Why should these people come to America?
They have their own country.
Why can't they work to better their own country?
This is Mexico's problem, not ours. We have enough poor people in America to deal with.
"We grew here, they snuck in here!"
