Sorry, but those are sovereign nations, and they can do what they want. The world is a dangerous place, ain't it.

America has no morals as regards nuclear weapons, after all the US is still the only country in the world that has already used nukes in Japan

The US doesnt dictate another Countries Nuclear Policies, if we did, France, China, Britain and Israel wouldn't have Nukes no what we're doing is keeping Iran and N. KOrea from developing Nuclear Weapons because, they pose a threat, thats an exception and to be exact, neither N. Korea nor Iran will have missles that can reach the United States but, Iran can strike anywhere in Europe (Hence the New United States Missle Defense System in Europe) and N. Korea can attack South Korea and Japan and both those Countries Security is the Responsibilty of the United States, for the past 50 years we have done a good job don't ya think???

Technically you are correct. BUT--bear n mind that the USA has not attempted to dictate the nuclear policy of many countries. Persuade, yes. Coerce, no.

In some cases that obviously is not the case. But (leaving aside the abomidable behavior of the Bush administration) US policy, when it has crossed the line into coercive measures, has been in that regard onlydirected against regimes that a) are a potential threat to us and/or b) regimes that are clearly too unstable and irresponsible to have peashooters, much less nukes.

The point is that in the case of these sorts of regimes, they do present a realdanger--and we--or any nation--does have the right to act under such circumstances. That is not a blank check--nor a justification for the sort of overvearing and aggresive actions of the current administration--those are unwise at the very least. But as a general policy, taking measured coercive action(economic sanctions, etc.--even military) against a regime that does present a danger is warrented.

Let's not forget the hypocrisy as well. Israel has dozens of nuclear weapons, and the US doesn't say a word; Iran builds a reactor for electricity, the type which CANNOT create fissionable (ie. bomb making material) and the US's anal pucker is so tight you can't stick a needle in.

Types like "yupchagee" aren't smart enough to realize that ALL nations have a right to their own self interest. Unfortunately, there are a lot of idiots who "think" the world is here for the US's benefit.

Sure do, thats why its a coalition and of course almost every country (including Iran) has signed the nuclear non-proliferations treaty. That means they have to let the world watch there civil nuclear program and not have a military program.

I think it's in the best interests of the entire world when a specific country's government that is seeking nuclear capability has specifically called for the destruction of another country.

Do you agree or disagree?

I realize that. I don't think Bush does but, well, he also thinks we own space and can dictate who's allowed to see the cosmos. He thinks a lot of things that don't make sense. If he didn't have so much power I'd find him mildly amusing.

We have a right to act in our best interests. That means stoping Iran & N Korea from having a nuclear capability.

Everyone has a right to defend themself. If someone is posturing menacingly too near you, you're gonna at some point react.
