I would go in, because they usually give orders for that sort of thing roughly 30-90 days before the change, are you sure that it was all signed sealed and delivered and you are good to go with the change. Do you have to go to another MOS training, if not then you might not get orders if you are in the same unit just different MOS.

Honestly they don't have to give you any notice. During 9-11 my friends parents where called and had to leave w/ in 30min. I also have friends in Iraq who got moved and did not know any details until the morning of:( Sorry, I know this doesn't help you out much! Good Luck and be safe!

Honey, regardless of what branch of military you're in THEY pretty much own you. You've signed your life over to them and they don't have to be required to give you any notice of any kind for anything. Sorry to tell you sweetie! God bless you for doing the job you do and I wish you luck on your future endeavors.

Call the S-1 and find out where your orders are.

Don't wait until the last minute, you should already have the orders in hand.

LOL ... It's the Army.
I was active duty in the Army and how much notice did they ever give anyone? Whatever they felt like.

They are not required to give you any notice. You need to take the initiative and CYA so you don't miss out on your reclassification.
