They all opted out of serving in the US Military.
Seriously, how many entertainers do you know that served in the Military? I can't think of any.
And the number of US Congressmen and Senators with previous service in the US Military has been decreasing since the 1977.
And now is at the lowest total since 1945..
In the 108th Congress 155 Congressmen and Senators had Military service.
In the newly elected 110th Congress, that number went down to 130 Congressmen and Senators who served.
