Why is it that inevitably we elect people that do not represent us in the proper way (voted by a majority) and we allow them to continue to put us in more jeopardy and they keep spending our tax dollars on these ignorant measures of homeland security?
We the People can take care of our own? It is only common sense isn't it? Where does all this fear come from and laziness?
Are we that feeble? Are we that selfish?

My husband has served proudly in the US Navy for 16 1/2 years. My question to you other military families is simple one. Are you frustrated that while our spouses are willing to put their lives on the line every day for our country that they are barely receiving enough income to make ends meet? That most military families can qualify for goverment subsidised programs to help them exsist. That while sports figures are making hundreds of thousands of dollars every time they play their prospective games and our deemed hero's to our children the men and woman that protect our country are all but overlooked. I am incredibly proud of my husband and what he does for our country. Unfortunately not to many people want to sign up for a job that demands so much and pays so little. What do you think?

Recently there has been news about states looking to toughen the laws regarding people being put to death. Child rapists, rapists, kidnappers, and accomplices to murder are now looking to be executed as well. I am not looking for answers on whether you feel there should or shouldn't be a death penalty but how do you feel about people being executed who did not actually commit murder? Do you feel execution should only be for people who physically took another life?

Kidnapping? Attempted murder? Give me a break! Any lawyer who can't get her off with a very light sentence is not worth anything. Who knows what she had planned? She sprayed pepper spray into the car but missed Ms. Shipman. She broke down in tears before she could do it. The materials like the plastic bags and rubber tubing is circumstantial at best. This will be watered down considerably and she will recieve counseling. She can most likely forget NASA as her employer.

I read Albert Pierrpoints book some years ago.I was sure he was the last hangman ? A most wonderfull and compassionate man who he perfected the art of hanging and carried out his job with no malice but to make the execution as quick and painless as possible.

This link above lists the total US hurricanes starting in 1881- Present. There is ABSOLUTELY no correlation between this data and global "climate change." Global temperatures are "increasing" and yet the hurricane frequency seems to be random at best.

For instance between 1881- 1890 there were 10 MAJOR (category 3,4,5) hurricanes, while 2001-2004 saw only 3.

So how can hurricanes be increasing due to global warming if neither hurricane frequency nor hurricane power are increasing?

Are the global warming alarmists lying to us?

My boyfriend is being federally charged with crack cocaine posession. We are doing everything we can to get his sentence reduced, but his time is calculated on a point system. Several points have been taken off of his snetence but I'm really not sure how much time one point is worth.

I like the Libertarian party but don't agree with everything. Also, it seems a little too idealistic.

If Hillary is elected and serves 2 terms this will have made for a 28 year Bush/Clinton dynasty. Strech your imagination a little more and think if Jeb Bush decides to run after that? A 36 year Bush/Clinton dynasty. Chelsea Clinton after that?- 44 years.

What do you think of this?

These are all Liberal Ideas, but all I hear on answers is how much conservatives hate liberals, I am a liberal and I do not hate conservatives or their Ideas. Some I admit I agree with. I always though until rescently that both liberals and conservatives loved their country. Just had different Ideas about how money should be spent. Now I hear all this talk of one side being treasonist. What is up with that?

DHS memo shows Compean spoke to supervisor immediately after incident

WND has obtained a Department of Homeland Security memo indicating Border Patrol agent Jose Compean made a complete, in-person verbal report to his supervisor at the scene immediately following the shooting incident for which he and colleague Ignacio Ramos are now in prison.

The May 15, 2005, report filed by DHS Special Agent Christopher Sanchez documents a conversation between Compean and his supervisor that explains the decision by all nine Border Patrol agents and supervisors on the scene not to file written reports.

As reported by WND yesterday, a DHS memo filed by Sanchez April 12, 2005, shows seven agents and two supervisors were present at the Feb. 17, 2005 incident also decided not to file written reports.

The April 12, 2005, DHS memo stated that all the agents present at the incident were equally guilty for not filing a written report.

These memos directly contradict the repeated statements of the prosecutor, U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, that agents Ramos and Compean filed false reports about the incident.

As far as WND can determine, no written reports were filed by any of the Border Patrol agents or supervisors on the field.

Moreover, the record of the May 15, 2005, memo indicates Compean was truthful in reporting verbally to the most senior supervisor present at the incident.
