This is a great question, but I am not sure how to answer it, because I really don't understand what all the animosity is all about. I believe that the Globalist Elite, are causing, or encouraging this divisiveness because they understand the theory of divide and conquer.
This is the time when we all need to set our differences aside...for the time being...so that we can stand together to fight our common enemy, the New World Order. The NWO, is a dream come true for the Globalists, but it is an unspeakable nightmare for the rest of us.
And for all you who still think Bush is the greatest thing since the discovery of fire, he is in on the whole thing, He is, of course, not the mastermind, but he is all for it, so don't kid yourself that he is some kind of innocent, or benevolent leader of humanity, or that his errors are only innocent human errors. They are not. Those of us who are always upsetting you, by criticizing your hero, just see him for what he really is. He is protecting you from nothing. It was all a hoax. 9/11 was an inside job, and the truth will come out before too much longer, mark my word!!!!!!

I think you should put more thought before you post questions like that.
You can't just say all conservatives are like that without proof. Its rude.
I'm a Liberal and I don't support all of the Conservatives views but I support some of them. Most of them support the Bill of Rights, but do not support other Liberal views.

Yes I've seen name calling and bashing from both sides and I chalk it up to mostly kids thinking they are being funny. I am mostly libertarian but like some conservative ideas. Liberalism scares me it's full of good intentions I guess but I just don't see the ideology as sound nor a good way to run a countries government. I will always be for lower taxes and smaller government especially government in my personal life. The liberals who run the democratic party today are elitists and believe being in power is their birth right. And their goal is everyone equal no more poor etc. Hey nothing wrong with that but you can't tax a country into prosperity it just doesn't work. It is as impossible as a man standing in a big bucket trying to lift him self up by the handle. And when they lie and distort the truth about our president concerning terrorism just for political reasons and putting down our military as Kerry and others have done does border on treason to me. Saying we support the troops but not the war is kind of like saying we support firemen but not what they do like I support you firemen but don't put out that fire! Let it burn. I am so tired of hearing but bush lied us into war most of congress including Hilary and Kerry said at the time that they read the same intel. reports as Bush did and they the congress voted to give Bush the authority to take Saddam out if he still would not comply with U.N. sanctions. He wouldn't so we took him out. Things arn't as bleak there as we are being told lot of good things happening. But I will save that for a different post as I am way to long here already. Anyway yes I disagree with your idiology but respectfully so.

What you see here on Yahoo! is far from the majority. Don't take it to heart.
I have views that lean both ways, but more towards conservatism. My best friend is a Liberal. we have great debates, but there is not real animosity.
Take it all with a grain of salt

Personally I hate political correctness and the attitude of "something for nothing." The idea that all people are EXACTLY equal is a lie.
But let me respond like so:
What is it that liberals hate about the 1st and 2nd Amendments? Or the Christian foundation of this country? Or the fact that we have a military and we aren't afraid to use it?
@bettysdad: Thank you for responding that way because it shows you truly have no idea of what conservatism is, and that you are not afraid to act with self-righteousness as well as ignorance.

Do conservatives really hate the Bill of Rights? Conservatives believe is the foundations that the Founding Fathers who worked so hard to accomplish in order to bring forth a democracy to the United States of America. Liberals on the other hand are destroying the foundations that the Founding Fathers believed in and placing them with an agend filled with lies, broken promises, and failed policies.

do not be ignorant. The conflict on drugs has not something to do inclusive of your "rights". This u . s . became in line with Christian concepts. Our forefathers got here to this u . s . to be able to worship the way THEY said fit, and not in any respect how the authorities informed them to worship. Do you've a situation worshipping the way you want to right here interior the US? that's as a lot as YOU in case you want to worship God, Hare Krishna, Mohammed, or a Cow. you do not have a call in Iran. As for me, I worship God; Jesus Christ, who shed His blood for YOU and me. And by technique of how, torture is forbidden in this u . s ., and by technique of our defense force. Waterboarding won't be able to kill anybody. even though it receives efficient information from those center-jap idiots who prefer to kill us, the "infidels", and saves American lives. in basic terms in case you probably did not comprehend - an "infidel" is someone who does not trust the way they trust (radical Islam). in case you don't love it right here interior the The United Staes of united statesa., there is not any one holding a gun on your head to make you stay right here. EDIT: Why do not you examine the bill of Rights. you likely not in any respect have. it is going to do you some good.

" what is it the conservatives hate about the bill of rights?"
Wow, I don't see to many conservatives standing in the way of: free exercise of religion, the right to bear arms, property being taken without just compensation, or the ninth and tenth amendments. What bill of rights haven't you read?

Y'know, until I got on YAnswers, I thought both liberals and conservatives loved their country. After seeing and experiencing the absolute hate for those who disagree with them, I now see that I was wrong. Most liberals, you may be the exception DO hate the country, the President, Republicans, conservatives, and generally anyone who disagrees with them or differs from them in any way. I know of few people, myself included, who hates any of those things you mentioned. I dislike Affirmative Action, for instance, which flies in the face of "equal rights for all of US" and gives privilege to one group over others. I dislike that liberals are all for free speech as long as you agree with them. And I dislike the lack of respect for the President though you may disagree with him.
