Gutiérrez, and Hilda Solís to discuss immigration and human rights.... After that they will travel from Washington to Chicago to visit Elvira Arellano, the Mexican woman who has taken refuge in a church before the authorities can deport her for her lack of papers....

Below is a cut out of Yahoo news . It seems that Iran can and will defend itself. Will America attack any way ? I can't remember when (if ever) they have taken on a real power. I notice they leave China and Russia alone. Yes yes World war 2 but that was largely fought by the British Empire and won by the 25 million Russians who died fighting and that scared the pants off the US for 50 yrs or better thereafter .


TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's top authority, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Thursday the Islamic Republic would target U.S. interests around the world if it came under attack over its disputed nuclear program.


His comments were accompanied by an Iranian naval commander's statement that the Revolutionary Guards had test fired missiles that could sink "big warships" in the Gulf, the waterway where a second U.S. aircraft carrier is now heading.

My nephew is a 9y/o boy with a Cardiac problem. He is with my father here in USA. He has a VSD (ventricular septal defect) now his aortic valve is affected too; he needs an open-heart surgery. My sister wanted to be here for his surgery, which is February the 20th, she went to the American Embassy in Mexico today to get a VISA (they call it a "humanitarian VISA"). We got a letter from the surgeon doctor who will make the surgery. She took the letter to the Embassy in Mexico, but they denied the VISA to her, despite the fact that she was showing also a bank account, proof of income and properties in her name, She want's to be here in USA for his son's surgery. My father is going to pay for the surgery, so we are not asking for any government funding like Medicaid or anything like that. We are self-pay for the surgery. I don't understand why they don’t let here to be here for his son's surgery. (They told her she could not get a VISA because she may stay here in USA after the VISA expires) Anybody knows where we can get help, so she can be here for the surgery. It is really important because this was not planned he came for vacations and his health was getting worst while he was here so we thought would be better to have the surgery here in USA. So if she is not here, I (his uncle) and my father will have to take care of him after surgery) any suggestion is appreciated about what we can do to help her to come to USA for that surgery. I see that there is a row over US Attorney's being dismissed allegedly without cause. In the UK, judges can't be sacked once appointed and we have no state prosecutors (yet). Do US Attorney's perform a similar function to Judges? Or are they state prosecutors? If so, what do they prosecute? Do they represent the state in lawsuits?

The poilce are traind to shoot and wound a suspect, but why do so many police result to shooting and killing people. If the LAW states that you are innocent until proven gulity, why do so many people never make it before a judge and jury? I can understand if the suspect have a weapon in thier hand, but the police have the power to kill the person or just shoot to disarm the person. WHY DO THEY KILL?

For 3 years, we have had problems with our landlord. She lives right below us so at the first of the month we can always count on knocking on our door at 6:00 AM to demand her rent. She leaves us constant notes regarding how we parked, if we picked up our paper on time, complaining that our cars are leaking (which never are- we took them to the mechanic 6 times), that the garbage cans were left out too long, alleging that we dented her garage and ruined other property as well. My husband and I both work 12 hours a day and couldnt possibally do all the things she says we do. She does horrible things and even went as far as to lie to my husband that I had men sleep over the house when he was away on business. Our cars are constantly being blocked out of the driveway and we have got 3 parking tickets by having to park on the road. WE still havent recieved the statement saying where our security deposit is either! What can we do! She obviously hates us despite our efforts to make her happy

I think some one lied to the liberals. My sister (a liberal) will conclude every argument with: "Well, it is supposed to be fair for everyone". Who's life is fair? Mine is not, never has been and never will be. i am poverty level> legal aid die over $39,000 dollers of illegal things to me & tells me to take legal aid to court. for what thay did. thay also have refused all services to me befor thay did that & no legal aid anywhere else well sue this legal aid in this county. this CITY has got to be sued. the police do lots of illegal things & no cop well write any repoprt on another cop for committing any crime a cop does. cops allow anyone elsxe to commit any crime & do not arrest the crimminols. cops do not answer my letters neither does the da da well only send my letters returned to me if i write any more. he has only forwarded my letters to him of the crimes the cops have done & of crimes the cops have allowed to the different police stations. i am not alowed on meda property. police told me if i contact thr media i well be arrested even. all govermental agenceys in america only say i have got to find a lazwyer but nowhere does anywhere get me a way of obtaining one. it cost lots of $$ $
