Looking to expand internationally. I live in a northern state and was wondering if an American can go to a Canadian post office and get a PO Box?

Probably - but you'll have to supply some information including your address... but I don't think there is any rule against it. Option is to get a Canadian contact and have them open a box and act as your 'agent', as it were. I have dealt with some small companies who do this. The Canadian addressee simply collects and forwards mail to the US.

Yes you can.

All you have to do is pay for it and provide some sort of government issue ID that states your home address.

Now you will have to do this in person but since you have to pick up your mail in person to this should not be a problem for you.

Canada Post sells boxes to residents in the nieghborhood first (obviously) then it's first come first serve which means big cities might not have any boxes for rent - or they might I am not sure what the availability would be .

If Canada post can't/won't do it for you because of demand then there are a million billion places that are privately owned that will . Same rules apply - government ID with your address on it and pay for it

Money Mart is Friendly Cash and Cash money all rent boxes and thats just off the top of my head

i ought to get a field at an area like Mailboxes etc/the united statesstore. this kind, you do have 24 hr get proper of entry to, regardless of the indisputable fact that the deliver to address is a street address and not in any respect a po field, so that you'll not have any difficulty with delivery eBay purchases. There are 3 of them in Windsor.
