My boyfriend is applying for the police and has to take a psych test first thing in the morning, I was just wondering if anyone knows how long that test takes?

I have a sexual harrassment case going on against an employer that has something to do with mail. My lawyer offered them a settlement for around $50-$90,000 & there final offer was 5,000 but my lawyer fees are $3,000 so I will only receive $2,000 should I take it or wait to go to court and risk losing and paying them $4,000 of there legal fees or I could also win & get at least $50,000
What should I do I only have one day to make my decision... Help.

i was driving, and there was a police car on the side of the road. i got distracted and hit (very lightly) the car infront of me. we both got out and exchanged insurance information, but when i saw both our cars, there was no damage whatsoever. the hit was way too light. in fact, the police officer didn't even spend a lot of time with us bc it was such a minor accident if anything. the back of her (the person i hit) car has a lot of dust on it, and there are patterns from the dust, but other than that, there is no damage whatsoever. however the woman was pulling crap out of her *** and saying that "you can't see it bc there's a lot of dust, but there are some markings here"-- and pointing at some line in the dust. i was tempted to just reach out and clear the dust with my hand and shout "there's NOTHING you idiot!" but i just smiled and nodded. i asked her if there was any way that we didn't have to involve insurance companies and just have me pay her the money. she agreed to call me.

I just spent 2 hours waiting on line at SS office to get a replacement card to be turned away. I need the card to get a license and a license to get the card. Birth certificate - no good unless it is an original hospital record created at the time of birth. I do not have a passport, adoption papers (wasn't adopted) baptism (jewish) . What else has an official stamp with my name and Date of Birth. This is unbelievable.

Is America really such a 'free' nation, as Americans are always making it out to be!?

If you say something against the government you are 'visited' by police.

Recently, Jeremy Clarkson was there and wanted to use some guns in his 'documentary' and was told HE MUST NOT use them in any anti-Bush or anti-war films.

The media only gives their 'edited' version of the news.

Bush 'edits' any documents before they are allowed to be released to the public.

The government actually pays people to say global warming isn't happening, and also 'gag' scientists that have proof its existence.

There is a town in the U.S that has made it mandatory that EVERYONE who is eligible to own a gun MUST, or they could be prosecuted!!

There are many other examples, but I can't remember them all

So do you still believe you really are a 'FREE' nation, and PLEASE don't give me all this drivel about being 'jealous' blah blah blah etc etc....

Dont forget the British challenger tank that took out another challenger 2 & the Royal Marines that took out one of their own boats.Its not a problem exclusive to the yanks.
If we could support our lads with our own aircraft this might not have happened- or would it.

It seems obvious to me Ford is completely unwilling to build cars that:
1) dont break down
2) are fuel effecient
I am not bashing america BTW I want to know what is actually going on and why a company that has been in business 100 yrs suddenly cant compete.
Please give honest answers and try to solve the problem rather than attitudes.

If you have seen the Tesla electric car it shows it can be built!! I bet if Ford would mass produce electric cars they would take the lead in sales again.

Everday I go to work half the staff comes in high and it's quite obvious. I work in an upscale restuarant and make very good money and don't want to quit my job. But at the same time, I can't stand going into work and taking up the slack for my high coworkers. The owner found a bag of pot laying on the dining room floor and laughed, and another girl was banging her one-hitter on the garbage can in the servers station and there are at least two known dealers that work here and I would fear for my life if I turned them into the police if they asked my name. I'm tired of the drugs and want a drug-free workplace. What should I do?

Okay. This is a lot of info. but bear with me because I need your opinions about handling this one!
I have a neighbor who is very sweet and she's a great mom of 6 and 3 yr. old boys. I've always been suspicious of her husband, but nmp, right? So, last night around 11pm, she comes over crying and claims that her husband hit her and that she needed to call 911 because he would not let her from their phone. Of course I called and went back over to the house to get the kids. He was there but didn't say anything. When the cops showed up, they went to her house rather than coming to mine. I tried to tell them to come to my place but ignored me when the husband started asking the cops to see him first. After 30 min. they came to talk to her at my house. First of all, they were so rude and extremely berating to her. They asked her if she hit her husband and obviously not knowing what kind of trouble she could get into, she admitted to slapping him after he screamed in her face and shoved her

I was driving along and got pulled over my a cop for having too much snow on my car, yeah, too much snow on my car. I got a $35.00 ticket. Should I appeal?

Both driver side windows were clear, the passenger side windows were about 30% clear, the back windshield was melting away with my defroster running and the front windshield was about half way cleared with the defroster running
