Can anyone cite an example of something Cheney has said or done in office that indicates he respects the public and is a public servant?

Here in Cardiff Wales United Kingdom,we have a very well known world wide children's toy store, and I noticed when I last had to go in there(I only go in there as a last resort)to get my nephew a birthday present,it was that not only the most unchild friendly store I been to,and it was more like a ware house than a toy store, but the worse thing I saw, was only one check out was open, all the rest where closed off with a electronic gate with a sign "EMERGENCY EXIT",and behind the gates on each closed check out was about twenty/thirty shopping trollies/carts. surely this is breaking health and safety laws as all emergency exits have to be clear. is there anything I can do about it?

I wonder if this is the same in other chains of this well know childrens toy store?

The entire Middle East is too volatile so I don't want Iran to have nukes but Israel already owns at least 200 of them.

And Israel built those nukes from the many billions of aid America gives her each year.

Israel has first attacked her neighbors 3 times in the past wars so they have the right to fear an attack from her as much as she does of another attack from them.

If America and the western powers don't demand Israel to destroy her nukes, we don't have a right to demand Iran not to own her own nukes.

I know it is illegal to threaten the life of the President, even in jest. Was wondering if there is a law forbidding anyone from calling President a traitor?

At the moment the UK’s Illegal drug trade is worth £4.6bn.
The cost to the UK to police it, insurance for criminal damage and lost work hours is between £12 to 18bn.

Its predicted that 55% of property crime is related to fundraising to buy illegal drugs.

Why do we spend so much money trying to change something that CAN NOT be changed?

The price of 1 kg of cocaine is £1,000 in Columbia, but its £30,000 over here, those profits result in international criminal gangs taking over, more crime, more human trafficking etc

The police says that its best efforts do not change the market that much. They have been taking more and more drugs off the streets, but the prices keep getting cheaper.

In 2004/5
4.65 million ecstasy tables were confiscated. But you can still but them from £2-5 each.
83 tonnes of cannabis and 88,000 plants were confiscated, but the price has not changed.

Are we ever going to make this legal, tax it and stick drug abusers in rehab rather than prison?

A friend of mine just called me and is upset as a trashy celeb mag have published a brief story and a large photo of her with a celebrity.
She did not give her permission for this and actually turned down offers to sell her story. What should she do? what rights does she have?
