I'm on SSI and child support is vital. I file all paperwork that is requested of me and I'm always told that the law does'nt enforce child support like it's not important for children to be provided for, what happend to the law of no child left behind. I hope that the Mayer will stop running around the city and enforce child support. Why is it not evident that child support helps feed a child, helps clothe a child, helps a custodial parent give a child what they may need for that month. I feel that non-custodial parents should be jailed if they choose not to work because their wages will be garnished or not file taxes in my case so the child support is not taken. It's only obvious that they are criminals avoiding a court ordered obligation. Mr. Mayer step up to the plate, get to something that is very improtant to the state of California, the children and their well being.

I have already gone to MEPS to take my ASVAB and got a 50 or 60. My recruiter already has all my transcripts, my background check, my marriage cert, and all my documents. he is picking me up this Thursday to take me to MEPS at 4am, to take my physical and pick my job. Does this mean that I am pretty much in, or could I still be told I can't join for any reason.

Why is our country frocing a democracy in Iraq, when our country does not have a democracy at home, its in my opinion being a hypocrite; and also why aren't we in the streets protesting the war which I know some are but that is the minority we need to get the majority to protest not enough to show up in the media and why is the protest aganist the Iraq war not showing up in the media? I thought a democracy was for the people by the people? But now its for the government by the Central Banks. What do you think on this subject matter?

It just seems like a vicious circle. Like having "In God We Trust" on money. Someone might say it infringes on an Atheist's civil rights. But wouldn't removing it infringe on anyone who believes in a god's civil rights? It seems like this country has is crossing the line between common sense and insanity.

"I come to this debate, Mr. Speaker, as one at the end of 10 years in office on the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where stopping the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction was one of my top priorities. I applaud the President on focusing on this issue and on taking the lead to disarm Saddam Hussein. ... Others have talked about this threat that is posed by Saddam Hussein. Yes, he has chemical weapons, he has biological weapons, he is trying to get nuclear weapons."

It seems that in most cases, when people pursue their goals through political means and the use of government coercion, it causes harm to someone else. Do the ends really justify the means?

OK this is a question I've been debating with my Canadian friends. Canada is a constitutional monarchy, with the Queen of England as official Head of State. My question is why does Canada retain the GG and the Queen, instead of becoming a republic with its own titular head? PLEASE I'm looking for answers better than "Why not"

Thanks!

How would you reform welfare? I would:

1) Make it a 2 year and your off program. Unless you are ill and under a dr.s care they would help with getting your disability.

2) Require anyone on it to work atleast 40 hours a week. If your truly in need you will work over time if offered it.

3) If they have no education require them to atleast get a GED during that 2 years.

4) Only pay for Certified daycare. Have friends do it, and fraud the system.

5) Make them pay a premium for medical they recieve. If our seniors have to pay 98.00 fir their medicare plus the drug program , and they are on a fixed income why cant someone that we are making work 40 hours a week pay the same.

6)After 2 children offer them the chance to get fixed. If they wont, They get nothing extra for the new child.

Well son, they don't actually plan on stopping global warming, as there is nothing they can do to change the natural fluctuations in our climate. Why didn't they stop the genocide if they had the power stop it? Well it doesn't really play into their agenda. So what is their agenda? Good question son! Here is list-

1. Fight US capitalism
2. Wine and dine at the finest resturants
3. Fight US hegemony
4. Bi*** and moan
5. Take bribes from dictators
6. Be as useless as possible
7. Blame the US for all world problems
8. Promote world government

I have been following this case now for close to 4 years. I know both of the parties and find it not only absurd but a waste of tax payers money not to speak of all the anguish subjected to them and there families.

Were talking about a 20 year relationship they shared, It would seem that over 600k each, should be enough to make either party happy.

So guys stop the insanity and settle!!!!!

Gay breakup heads to court in Paulding County

Lack of marriage rights hurts gay couples when they split, attorney says
By DYANA BAGBY
Friday, October 14, 2005
For 20 years, Mark Bengtson shared his life with Timothy Quinn and said he believed they would be together forever.
The two settled in Paulding County and purchased a home together in Acworth in 1998.
But three years ago, their long-term relationship soured, and the two split. On Dec. 10, 2002, a month following the breakup, their house and much of what they owned was destroyed by fire.
Now the former couple is battling in court over what remains of their assets, without the benefit of divorce procedures available when heterosexual marriages dissolve.
Quinn filed a civil lawsuit against Bengtson in January 2004 in Paulding County Superior Court, and Bengtson countersued in March 2004. The case is scheduled for trial Nov. 14.
