~Because he didn't have a clue then or now.~

He doesn't really know how to win the war in Iraq. All he can do is try different strategies, and hope they end up working. There was no exit strategy for this war from the outset (remember the "Mission Accomplished" banner?). There apparently was no plan with dealing with an insurgency, either, which is what is keeping us bogged down there now. In my mind, this lack of realistic planning, from the war's outset, is unethical. How can you put American troops in harm's way without first planning for an exit strategy, not just for one potential scenerio, but with the possibility that several might present themselves (such as an insurgency). I don't think this administration really considered these issues, because if they had, there would have been put in place a reachable goal and an exit strategy (or strategies) from the outset.

The war in Iraq has been won, next the war in Iran.
"I believe that we lost critical time in dealing with Iran because the White House chose to downplay the threats. I don't believe you face threats like Iran or North Korea by standing on the sidelines. Let's be clear about the threat we face now: A nuclear Iran is a danger. The regime's pro-terrorist, and anti-American and its rhetoric only underscores the urgency of the threat it poses. Our policy must be clear and unequivocal. We cannot and should not – must not – permit Iran to build or acquire nuclear weapons. In order to prevent that from occurring, we must have more support vigorously and publicly expressed by China and Russia, and we must move as quickly as feasible for action in the United Nations. We cannot take any option off the table in sending a clear message to the current leadership of Iran – that they will not be permitted to acquire nuclear weapons."
Winston Churchill

If Bush wants to win the war in Iraq, he would have to listen to his general's advice and triple the amount of troops in Iraq. Or course that will involve conscription. Get ready America.

Bush didn't know where Iraq is .
Bush didn't know why he sent 4000 US to their deaths and 120,000 maimed for life.
You want him to know everything?
Give the man a break.
He is not the one running the country remember!
Your question should have been addressed to Repukes, the Israeli lobby , NEOCONS and the zionist Christians ( pat Robertson and co.).. these are the culprit of the Iraqi quagmire.
