Yes, half the doctors in the VA don't even have degrees. My experience with them has been pretty bad. They have no clue what is wrong with you, they pretty much guess and play doctor.

Wow, if only we knew? Some VA terrific, some pathetic. Always crazies ever where. VA has to prefer vets, and some of them are goof offs, and very inept. Some Md's graduated, but "D" students, and not bright in Civilian and VA. Some in VA [pioneering new medical advances. The system has never been given enough money, and the culture in many employees is to just get ahead, so politics, and running off top notch employees takes up most of their time. Gotta watch out for your people in VA hospitals, but also in civilian.

No, the VA Hospitals have fine doctors, nurses & staff.
My daughter's father in law is the head of the lab at a large Veterans Hospital in our area & he went to a prestigious university & left a great job to be sure our Veterans got the best care. I think that is often the case, it is not about money to them but better care for our Veterans.
You get good & bad docor's wherever you go. I pay good money for my doctor & he could care less. It shows in his care of my family. I would rather have concern.

No they aren't, I have had top notch care at the VA since my return. The VA docs are just as good if not better.
