I doubt he's a prophet, but I think he's more of a humanitarian than some other leaders have been. He's certainly shown more concern for the poor Venezuelans than the right-wingers ever have. The fact that he was also democratically elected is also a plus.

I hate the guy, I cant stand his face.
Yet...
He is the beloved figure of his own people.
He managed to lower gasoline cost to his own people paying less than 1$ for a gallon..
He also slapped Verizon forcing them to provide free SMS and lower cell phone costs.
He also introduced an effective and affordable health care system better than the one you have.
Now tell me , wouldn't you vote for a figure like that here at home?
Now tell me, is he a bad man?

He's a big mouth narcissist. The long term damage he will do to Venezuela will over shadow any short term gain some in his country will receive.

If he would concentrate on his own country and not be sending weapons to Bolivia. I might have a little more respect for him. Venezuela should be his priority.

I believe that he was elected by his people and we should respect the right of any nation to select who they want as their leader.
The whole idea of freedom is based upon choice.

i have no feelings one way or the other on him . i know that he is pissing bush off because he has got a grip of oil and bush aint got his finger in that pie yet

I don't really care about him one way or the other, but he has imporved the quality of life for Venezuelans.
