My boyfriend is applying for the police and has to take a psych test first thing in the morning, I was just wondering if anyone knows how long that test takes?

The psyche test that was conducted for the department I work for took almost 4 hours from start to finish. They made us take a battery if tests. One of the tests was 400 questions and the second was 700 questions. Most of the questions repeated themselves multiple times, just worded a little different. Do you like your mother? Do you like your father? Do you love your mother? Do you love your father? Really bizarre I thought.
Then you will move to the actual oral interview with the psychiatrist. That was fun in itself. They will ask bizarre questions also. Alot of what I put up above. Did you have a good relationship with your mother etc etc
By the end of the session you will come out scratching your head believing you are completely nuts.

The test will take approximately four hours.

depends if it is only one or a 4 part test-I took it a long time ago( it hasnt changed much) and it was maybe 1 hr total time

if you're referring to the MMPI....it'll be a long day. 3-5 hours.......depending on how much he reads into the questions.......because they are weird and open ended......Hope he gets plenty of sleep
