It seems like people are overly harsh when they reply to questions (particularly political ones). If someone is against the war in Iraq or President Bush... all too many people say that person should be "bashed in the head" or "deported". If they support the war and the President, they somehow "have a screw loose". Isn't freedom of speech one of the most important things we've got going?

offered. In the name of erasing the USA status as an "INTERNATIONAL PARIAH" (John Kerry), and to show our understanding of the "root causes" of 9/11, the US's arrogance and military presence in Arab land the Democrats are hoping that their LOVE offensive will win over the hearts and minds of honest terrorists world wide...an Olive branch from the Democrats to Al-Quaeda... and my question is this too far from the truth?

If a guy who has never had anytime rights to his son and has a criminal record after he became a father who now wants to have some custody have any rights? He does have past drug charges and served time. He still has acase ongoing now that he was a fugitive but he was locked up at the time. He also has violent charges he did time for. The only report I ever filed on him was for stealing my car but I never called police when he hit me. He lives in Va I live In IN and I am not paying money for my son to go to visit him. He also lives with a jealous gf and he said that she didn't like hearing himtalk about his son so i takt that as a hostile environment and he won't go near her.
Does anyone know about custody lasw or where I can get more info online. I am researching books before I get an atty or file for support (he never gave support either but can afford to put somebody up in his new apt.).
Please help

Corruption begins because the corrupt ones don't have any fear of getting caught nor is anything done so that they along with their family feels embarrsed or ashamed in front of the society. What steps should be taken so that before accepting a bribe the officer would think a hundred times. What can a common man do at that very moment to punish the corrupt officer or politician so that the whole world knows it?

I have read a lot of the answers from people saying there would be a shortage of doctor's, teachers, etc if immigrant's were deported from the uk. I disagree because most of the doctor's and teachers etc are needed to cope with the massive influx of immigrant's into this country year after year.
given the ammount of immigrant's entering the uk every year we shall need more and more of these proffesionals from overseas
on a regular basis. My question is there anyone else out there that agrees with what i have said

With the Conflict in Iraq, Our Propaganda Machine is running over time, consider. (1) Saddam Hussein killed his own citizens with nerve gas. ( what would our leaders do to secure Our republic). (2) Saddam Hussein was a vicious murderer. ( when Our leaders decided to drop bombs on the citizens of Iraq, Did they first clear away all innocent citizens, or did they just drop Bombs on all and hope that naive Americans would believe that "callateral Damage", excuses the obvious Murder of innocent poor Iraqi Children, and Women, will We as Americans always give Our leaders Blind Faith to do as they wish and ignore the Catastrophic consquences.

My fiance is being acused of abuseing an under age girl while she was asleep. He said he didn't do it. It was his sisters friends daughter and the night they are talking about he said they were all drunk (it was 2 years ago). He doesn't actually remember, but it is not something that he would do and his sister was there. This girls therapist now wants to speak to him he is terrified about going to jail. And not being able to prove that she is lying. Does anyone know the process on this kind of thing or what we can do?

Hi there -
I'm a server and the restaurant i work at is l.a. based and they just started this new policy that if an order was made and it was wrong for some reason, regardless if it was your mistake or the customer's, the server is responsible for paying the full cost of the dish. this seems so wrong and unfair! is this legal? to make servers pay for mistakes? any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I broke up with my ex of 3 years about 4 months ago. After braking up with her she took a few things of mine. I couldn’t get any of the stuff back so I settled for breaking it. Even though I owned these things I don’t have any proof and neither she. I had been planning to join the Navy before all of this happened, if I lose this case would I still be able to join, after paying whatever fines. I haven’t told my recruitment office about any of this just because of my own embarrassment.

Small Claims Court Question...Can I bring legal action solely for the purpose of a proclamation?

In my state there are no "unit pricing" laws and as such some stores post what I think are very deceptive signage (regarding pricing). Does a judge have the power to declare the signs are deceptive if there's no laws requiring signs not to be? (Do small claims judges have the power to legislate from the bench?)
