Before Bush maybe but they only had once topic to write there jokes on. Then came Bush and the jokes keep writing themselves. From his policies, mistakes, when he talks, and the list keeps going on. I don't think anyone can beat him. He has given comedians so much material that they have to pick and choose which one to use.

I think our recent presidents have been engaged in a serious contest of oneupsmanship when it comes to comedy. Everyone of them has been a joke! But, I fear the final joke will be on the American people who have tolerated the not so funny, sometimes corrupt and frequently inept leaders.

Remember electing the class clown to president in grade school. It seems old habits die hard!

I'm a dem and I would say Clinton is best material of all time, Leno was merciless e.g. Leno said Bill believes the Bible didn't prohibit a BJ from someone other than yer wife, at which point Leno begins stomping his foot, clapping his hands and singing, "Give me that ol' time religion."

No I think that honor goes to the magnificient George W. Bush of Comedy Centrals " Thats My Bush" fame.

I dont recall another President being so highly mockable that they made a half hour sitcom for that very reason.

considering the rise in populairty of shows like Daily Show, Colbert Nation, and the once televisedThat's my Bush, i would say I can think of a president MORE worthy of comedy. Bathroom jokes are only so funny...but comedy of errors is laughs for a lifetime!

All of the late-night comedy shows (SNL, The Tonight Show, Letterman, Conan, etc.) have made a lot of fun of every president--and some mayors, governors, counsel members, etc. They make fun of everything that is in the news--and whoever goofs in any fashion.
