It was dark with no road lighting on a 70mph road in Scotland and the police were standing outside their car pointing a hand held device at me. I think I may have been travelling at about 90ish ( I know it's stupid, shame on me!) but they didn't pull me over or chase me or anything. I thought these devices just registered your speed but couldn't take your registration number. I thought the police had to then pull you over to give you a ticket. I'm thinking, how could they have seen my registration plate with my lights shining at them and at the speed I was doing? Does this device take my registration? I know the mobile camera vans can get your registration number as these have more equipment in them, hence the need for a van. This was only a hand held device though. Does anyone know if these devices are capable of this and if I should expect a letter in the post from the police? (No lectures about me speeding please) Thanks

I was minding my own business, just like everyone else in our country. Then those savages attacked us, all because we are a free and caring country.

Then, liberals sided with those who hate us for our freedoms, and now they are putting everyone's lives in jeopardy, all so that they can try and make Bush look bad.

Have you forgotten, liberals?

My son was a passenger in a boat and died. The operator walked away and never even called 911. Not only did my son die, another passenger died as well. The operator is enjoying his life while my life ended on that horrible day.

A few years ago i broke my leg and it required surgery. I needed to get a metal rod and a four screws put into my leg in order to help it heal. To this day i still have the rod and screws in my leg. I was wondering if this injury and surgery would prevent me from meeting the guidelines to join the military? Would i be accepted into the military under "draft" standards? or no matter what the circumstances i wouldnt be accepted because of my injury?

I have a very important question. Ok..I've had 3 aggravated malicious wounding charges and one att.murder but it got dropped to an aggravated mal.wounding...2 of all charges got dropped and left me pulling a sentence of 6mths for one aggravated malicious wounding, thing is i'm being put on probation until im 21 since i pulled a short sentence..my regular sentence to pull was untill im 21 but they let me out early..My questions is..its been 3months and i've been doing good and i was wondering maybe in 6mths or 1 year of my probation time that i would have pulled is there anyway possible that the other 4yrs can be suspended from my probation?

The people I'm talking about are the ones who think that war is a good thing, that The War on Terror is just, that President Bush is great, etc.

I mean, really. They talk about freedom as if they know what it even means. If they didn't have any normal neighbours or classmates or workmates, they'd be living in such a boring world.

It's like they don't recognize that it takes more guts to be non-violent than it does to go to Iraq and blow things up.
