It is disputable, although not likely. For one thing, a war with Iran would mean plenty of more US casualties - something that Bush will not be able to politically stand.
More likely than anything else, if Iran keeps on defying America, Bush will likely use the 2 carriers in the area to bomb the Iranian infrastructure. Bush is scared of America bodies coming home right now.

Sadly, the people of Iran have not much control over their leader and neither do we here - it's complicated.
If anything, I think there would be air strikes against strategic targets - not a ground war.
Also, as time goes on, I think we could expect some retaliation in some forms that may be quite uncomfortable. Things are not looking too good.
Our govts. are supposed to serve the needs of the citizens, not the other way around.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Does the name Neville Chamberlain ring a bell? He gave Hitler all the time he needed to prepare for war by trying to appease and talk to him about peace. The President of Iran has no intentions of peace. Given enough time by bleeding heart democrats who think they can talk Iran out of blowing Israel off the face of the map, Iran will assemble an atomic bomb. Their first test of it will result in a bright flash where Israel used to be. Anyone who can still see from watching the flash, like a dear in headlights, will quickly realize that, like Chamberlain, they goofed. By that time it will be too late. The first and last Atomic War will have begun. Muslim terrorists look forward to death because they truly believe it's a guarantee of going to heaven by murdering people in the name of Allah.

There's a possibility. If Bush says that Iran has weapons of mass destruction, then across! ifs after 2008 and some wimpy democrat gets elected and just sits idly while Iran continues their weapons program and gets there bomb and vaporizes Israel then we are all dead.

if George W. Bush has anything to do with it.. yes.. we will soon be at war with Iran.
I guess it will have the same affect on those Iranis living in the U.S. as it did on the Iraquis living here.
How will it affect us... many, many more of us will die.
