The guy who wrote those newspaper articles can't get a job even in the liberal media now - and they HATE the CIA unless they can use it to say something bad about Bush.

The only "evidence" of a CIA drug connection was that the CIA helped the Contras, who also got money from people connected to the drug trade. But we're talking Latin America two decades before the minerals and oil boom - - almost everyone who had money to give to political groups on either side had some connection to the drug trade. The argument is akin to arguing that anyone who has ever supported the GOP was involved with illegal influence peddling on behalf of Native tribes, since Abramoff also supported the GOP financially and did those things. That makes no sense.

But it gives people an excuse to blame someone else for their own conduct, so the legend lives on....

He seems to want to attack Iran so badly he can taste it but is it within his power to so . Does he need to go before congress or did we let the cat out of the bag with the patriot act . Will we regret giving the president so much unchecked power .

but don't believe that altering the chemical composition of your atmoshere will have harmful effects on your environment?
And who put it in your minds that converting to less harmful energy sources would be a boil the ocean project, a project too large to undertake?
You find it worthwhile to spend billions of your dollars in war but nothing for the continuation of life.

I shall never understand humankind.

1. 30 year mortgages
2. Long term bonds?

If they really believe this, should the government ban these because the companies/people who hold them know that they will never get the maturation of their loan?

I just wondered because they don't seem to be making their goats or camels were those stupid face masks.

Do you think they only preserve their women for the purpose of pro-creation? Or do they just keep their goats and camels around for an occasional out-of-marriage interlude?

Seriously, one punch would completely knock Rocky's head off. This is a major plot hole in Rocky IV and I think Stallone owes us an explaination.

Is it the best idea? Why or why not? This is a question for my 10 year old's Social Studies project, just intended to get a sample of people's opinions. If it helps any, his project is about the use of walls throughout history and how they compare with this proposed fence. Thanks in advance!

I was deeply disturbed by the news story posted in the link above.
I find it hard to believe that our justice system has been so perverted by a liberal mentality that a victim can be prosecuted.
This guy may have only been stealing gas, but what happens to the homeowner that shoots someone breaking into his house?
An assualt charge , that's what.
How does this story make you feel about your rights as a homeowner?

There have been a lot of cases where those who use lethal or semi-lethal force to protect themselves, their home, or their property have been charged with greater crimes than the originating purpotrater. I just wanted to know if anyone knew the specifics. Thanks.

I just came across a question from "returnofkarlos", asking "Will the smoking ban in England make you kick the habit?".

"elaine692981" commented:
"...We now have to breath in smoke when entering and leaving buildings. It stinks!
Why are smokers devoid of consideration for others? It is a strange phenomenon but smokers really don't seem to care about what they are doing to themselves or others."

I would like to tell "elaine692981" that she can easily avoid breathing in the smoke by not going into pubs/bars/clubs.

And I would like to raise a question. If you are a smoker, you MIGHT die because of it. Somebody else MIGHT die because of it. BUT IF YOU EAT MEAT, THE ANIMAL OBVIOUSLY HAD TO DIE. AND IT DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE (e.g. not to go to the slaughterhouse). And there are people who suffer seing animals being eaten. So what do you think about that?

I yearn to see the day when eating meat is banned from public places! Same for dairy. People kill baby cows to drink their mother's milk!
