We're all Libertarians but most of us are only selectively so.

Yah see, that sucking sound you hear from the south? Thats Perot's sucking head wound.

Libs are not communists. Liberals believe in freedom with responsibility. Business can BE business as long as your not pollutin, not hurting your neighbors, etc. Liberals dont hold on to obsolete technology such as the internal combustion engine just because the fuel which runs them makes Exxon and other oil companies insane profits, at the expense of a race of human beings held hostage to exhaust pipes and brown air.

What I understood years ago, is you have to balance all your different beliefs (some of which are going to be more liberal than others) and truly look at which candidate more closely fits your beliefs.

There is amazing power in knowledge. Dont cast one more ballot in any election without first knowing as much as you can about issues which interest you.

If you cant find a candidate you feel can honestly represent you and your belief system, seriously consider running for public office yourself.

Grand-status. The term "fascist" is plenty-abused. Fascism is very complicated and somewhat no longer easy to pin down, besides the undeniable fact that it has advance right into a hardship-loose place insult to describe an egomaniac who refuses to hearken to the different evaluations and whose schedule isn't changeable decrease than any circumstances. In that understand, this is a noticeably stable description of Giuliani, yet that doesn't make him a Fascist according to se. He could choose for to have self belief in a state controlled by potential of a ruling elite in consort with comprehensive cooperation of own company (firms), and he could might desire to have self belief that the guy is of little value---the state is each little thing and the be all and end all of human existence. i think of Rudy is purely too chaotic mentally to be a stable fascist.

I wasn't aware that "libs" and "conservatives" were the two political parties in this country.

Ross Perot. Yes, THERE'S someone who's qualified to run a nation.

There is a political continuum, not little hot spots. Liberals technically tend towards socialism, not communism, and conservatives are authoritarianisms not fascists. Frankly communists and fascists are real hard to tell apart. I tend to be a Libertarian conservative. Check out the following link, it is kind of fascinating on the subject.

I reject both of your premises. Libs are not commies and Cons are not theocratic-fascists. Generally speaking, both sets of everyday folks of those persuations are rational thinking people.

Unfortunately, people only vote for either a republican or a democrat, because the other parties "can't win anyway". It would be really nice to see more independents (who are truly independent) win elections.
