Hi everyone,

I start my Navy boot camp on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Great Lakes, IL (the only boot camp left for naval recruit training).

I was wondering if there is anyone here that is starting their Navy boot camp around the same time or on the same day?

some years back i was in brazil and fall in with a brazilian woman called liliana da costa benedicto she was 23years then and both us lived together in the city of sao paulo, bela vista precisely.but some time in 1998 we pathed ways and i returned to nigeria,and since then i have tried to link up with her again but know avil. please can be able to see them again? can i put there picture on the net? can any one from brazil help me please .

i'm trying to get a longer visa for my trip to india, i want to stay for 9-12 months, but if i can only get a 180day visa, what are my options? firstly, CAN i get a longer tourist visa? secondly, if not, and i stay over the 180days, whats the worst that can happen? third, how easy is it to get an extension, and how long can it be for? travelling from ireland, 2nd time in india. thanks for any help.

I am in the army reserve and a college student, my english class was on the Iraq war and I have vast sources I have independently found to justify the war and those reasons are still true to this day. So the question is what do you know that you researched rather then let someone else tell you?

What right to the rotten Democrats have to destroy cause masssive, widespread unemplohment and skyrocketing inflation, just when the economy is going great? What right do they have to prevent new companies and small comanies from hiring people and growing?

How could a Socialist minimum wage law possibly be constitutional at all, when it interferes with the right of consenting adults to enter into a private contract to engage in legal work, and agree upon mutually acceptable terms?

Most of you liberals are too ignorant and stupid to even understand the above question, but nevertheless, I'll pay you $100 if you can, and if it's logical.

When are you People going to get it, You have to END the current role of representative government by constitutional amendment! Apparently, scientists are trying to tell us that global warming is caused by humans. But as many non-scientists will tell you, climate change it a natural cycle that humans have no affect over. So why are scientists pushing this liberal scare tactic? Do scientists hate SUVs?

1) To what television and radio programming should it apply? Political points of view can also be embedded in news AND entertainment programming, as well as in "opinion commentary."

2) What issues require the broadcasting of a "rebuttal?" Which issues are "the subject of controversy" and which are not? What percentage of the public has to disagree with a proposition for the issue to be controversial? Does it include, say, KKK and Communist Party members, as well as just Republicans and Democrats?

3) Who decides? What government agency? How are its members appointed? Do they change with a change of president, or can a new Congress appoint new members? What would the regulations look like to implement this?

4) Is there an "appeals" procedure? How would that work? Would court cases drag on, or would there be an expedited procedure?

I think this is all a bad idea. Those are SOME of the reasons why.

PEOPLE have rights, not opinions. Let the people decide!

I understand the student was not suppose to be using it during school hours that is our policy, the parent is suppose to come pick up the phone before or after school when a cel phone is confiscated from the student but the head master actually read the students text messages and called the parent in for a conference. is it legal to actually read or go through the phone.....???

It has started to get lots of national press as of late: CBS Early show, NBC, New York Times, Miami Herrald. For those that dont know, (read one of the articles: Time.com.

In a nutshell: a housing project was condemed & torn down with the promise of a rebuild 11 yrs ago & put $ up for the project. To date, no one knows where the $ is & the building is still an empty lot. A group used a law that forbids arrest of homeless on govt land doing life sustaning activities (eating, washing etc.) & took & occupied the vacant 1 acre lot & built a shantytown for the homeless w/ no help or support from govt. In fact govt tried to shut it down until all the press & now want to 'help'.

It was due to the gentrification of poor in the booming Miami real estate mkt.

I say, way to go! Since govt WONT help, do it ourselves.
